Ill take a rusty, coming off of injury, 36 year old, possibly past his prime, Roman Hamlrik over obyrne and picard, any, day, of, the, week.

Its frightening how much better our D looks with the obyrne picard pairing out and hammer and markov in, gill and gorges become one HELL of a 3rd pairing, and they WONT have to play 25 mins a game each, id seriously consider pairing hammer and marov together.

gorge's forte, all his career, is when he plays JUST about 20 mins, anything over, and it becomes a little much for him, same with gill

Don't understand the hate on Picard. He's played well. He was a big part of winning on Saturday night as he was huge on the second Habs goal. He got beat a few times against Toronto, but against Pittsburgh he played really, really well.

If it were up to you guys, how would you divide the amount of mins each defenseman plays on average?

for MY part, my beef is SERIOUSLy with obyrne more then anything, i just cannot beleive a player cannot develop at all over 4-5 years like that, its like he DOESNt want to get better when i see him out there

and picard, to me, he's just the odd man out, all 6 of our defenseman are better then picard by default, so he gets the boot until martin decides to let him in

Yeah, that's a good point. I think I read somewhere that he hates money and success. His goal in life is to do as poor a job as possible in whatever he does.
