Perrin from another québécois and Lecavalier

for Montreal:

Lapierre from Picard and Darche

Easy win tonight 4-2 Montreal!
Just FYI, Perrin was let go after his try-out.

Here's to a good game tonight, this should be really interesting and intense.

Thanks LightningStrikes, I think interesting and intense might be an understatement.

Not sure if serious.

I meant a poutine and a few beers to wash it down with.

Anyone else have a bad feeling for tonight?

If Tampa dominates, stupid fans in the upper bowl will start boo'ing Price and Cheering if Tampa scores.

Darkest day in recent Habs history potential.

I thought that a Hamrlik-O'Byrne pairing wouldnt be that bad.
When O'Byrne was paired with him, he wasnt stellar, but he wasnt bad either. Subban with Spacek, Gill and Gorges together, it seemed perfect. To me, at least.

With a Gill-O'Byrne pairing, we might have like a new Dandouillon coming.
A slooooow one.

Martin was pulling a fast one this morning as Hamrlik is with O'Byrne while Gill is with Gorges. The earth has returned to its normal axis.

I don't know if it's because of everyone drooling over Guy Boucher who has a total of 2 games coached in the NHL or if it's because of the CKAC /RDS people never stopping about this and that about TB but I am really growing a hate for this team. I really want the Habs to win tonight.

Edit, post below mine is the perfect example of what I'm talking about. (nothing personal MR).

Tampa will win tonight. Not sure on the score, but the combination of Boucher knowing our system and the Quebecois incentive are overpowering.

Shouldn't the Habs know Boucher's system more than the other way around?

Personally I think he's just not very good, and has less potential than people are willing to admit and his future in the NHL is as a marginal guy. Which isn't a bad thing to have, but I'm glad that Markov's return will bump him off the depth chart.

Yup me too. I think it's because RDS were cheering for Tampa in the playoffs against us.

We'll see. It's hard to tell from one game anyway, especially since Boucher has had one total real game of figuring out his team and Martin his missing his best player.

But I suspect that system-wise, the guy with one NHL game of experience will hand the guy with a thousand his butt. The kind of puck pressure game Boucher preaches is exactly what the Habs need if they want to improve; the kind of passive system Martin practices is exactly what they need if they're aiming for a lottery spot.

Or we might not, it often takes more than a few games to set up a system (part of why the Habs were better as a team early last season, even though goaltending would lose them games).

Obyrne can be ok when there is some intra competiton but as soon as he feels more confortable, his game can be a pain to watch..
