new car question

Buying a SUV on tuesday, MB GLK 350. Anyone here have info on it?
also if anyone lives in the GTA and works at a MB dealer maybe they could help a fellow hab fan out?

So that slightly awkward Crosby Dempster's ad is out. My sister is the waitress bringing the platter of sandwiches to the kids team's table. None of her lines made the final cut, but whatever, I guess. You'd cringe to find out how much she makes for stuff like this that ends up being only 2 or 3 seconds of screen time, lol.

The commercial:

lol, the part that gets to me is when the kid is like "SIDNEY" in a gay way and crosby turns around does the like "sup" head movement and just keeps walking with that dumb smile.

As for your sister, i figured it was her who says 'got your...sandwiches'. Guess not.

I'm late since it's thursday...but 1 question. Did you just ask about info for a car you're already planning to buy? Shouldn't you find out info first?

Amusingly, she IS the girl holding/walking with the platter in that shot, but that is NOT her voice, lol.

edit: actually, as it turns out, that WAS her voice (recorded separate from the shot obviously). Didn't sound like her at all.

The Halloween Thread

Hey guys,

Figured it would be fun to talk about Halloween costumes, maybe show off some good ones.

Me, I'm trying to go as Maverick from Top Gun, but all the places with the suits are quoting me super long shipping times. Does anyone know anyone with one of these flight suits who would sell, or have any idea where I could get one in Montreal? Would be super grateful!

I'm not sure if it's still there, but there was an Army surplus store on St. Laurent that I remember going to about a year ago. I remember they had flight jackets and flight suits.

Best place I've ever been to is Joseph Ponton Costumes.
480 St-Francois-Xavier in the old port.
They have genuine costumes, used in plays, movies, etc..
Depending on your budget, you might find it expensive, and a lot of them are just rentals. They have a bunch of different flight and army suits.
I'm sure you can find something over there.

Personally, I'm gonna go old school, paint my face brown and go as Steve Urkel.

I'm doing a zombie bar hop thing on Saturday. Everyone has to be a zombie but they want you to be creative as to what kind of zombie or how you "died".

Can anyone give me and suggestions? I have no idea what to go as.

There is no theme for our party, but my girlfriend and I chose the costume for each other.

I'll be discoman! All I need now is to find glasses that would fit, practice disco dancing/attitude (à la Disco Stu) and transfer some disco music in my phone so I can play it on me during the party.

My girlfriend? It isn't a real costume, but so much different than her usual style! She is a really classy girl, always beautifully dressed. She'll transform into a (Edit: Ed Hardy lover) girl! Way too much fake tanning, fake makeup and fake Ed Hardy clothing (+ fake attitude).

I think it's gonna be fun, but we hope we won't see a real (Edit: Ed Hardy lover) girl at the party!

For ideas, you could always go to Village des Valeurs (used clothing and new costumes) or Party Expert (which is more expensive, and they look at you like you are gonna steal them, but they have hundreds of kits).
