Will the lines look somewhat like this after the demotions of Dalpe and Bowman?
Zach Boychuk - Zac Dalpe - Jerome Samson
Drayson Bowman - Riley Nash - Oskar Osala
Chris Terry - Jon Matsumoto - Jared Staal
Nic Blanchard - Nick Dodge - Matt Kennedy
Bobby Sanguinetti - Brett Carson
Casey Borer - Michal Jordan
Brett Bellemore - Brian Rodney

Well, I'm a cop and have worked some of the worst street corners in Wake Co, I am pretty sure I can handle it... Not worried about the distance, there are a ton of restaurants and bars along the way so we are going to walk to a nice restraunt, eat, then go to the game, and taxi back to the train station...
I know tons of people that train there and none have complained about the station...
Anybody know about parking at the TWC Arena? I was planning on getting down there plenty early. Then I got to thinking that I may get down there too early and still not be able to find a place to park.
Would love a heads up on the parking and nearby places to eat/drink.
Checkers welcome to the AHL. Glad to have another team in the mid-Atlantic. Now you can share in the too far south BS from the fans of teams in the northeast. Norfolk Admirals fan looking forward to a good rivalry with the Checkers. Should get both fans bases going. Might even have to do a road trip.

Easiest place to find parking would be the 7th Street Station on (you guessed it) 7th St, a short and entertaining walk from the arena. It's by far the biggest deck and rarely full. There are plenty of other decks in the area if you want to try elsewhere, much easier than Raleigh.
One of my favorite tricks in Charlotte is to get a $3 guest pass from Park It! which allows me to park on-street in 4th Ward, which is a longer but extremely safe and picturesque walk from the arena. And all the bars and restaurants are in between, so it's easy to park, eat/drink, hit the arena, then do the reverse.
So I stand a chance of getting mugged parking at the 7th street parking deck? lol Thats where I was planning on trying to park. Also hear there was a Brixx pizza there also? I like Brixx.
I was hoping to get into the area plenty early, and be half way drunk by game time!

No, not at all. Your chances of being mugged anywhere in that area are fairly low. I've walked every inch of sidewalk in that area at every time of day and night, and never been hassled other than by vagrants wanting change.
The Brixx is right across the street, and one of the better places to pregame. I'd also give some thought to the Fox & Hound on Tryon and, if you're looking to be half drunk, maybe the Buckhead Saloon nearby.
Samson must be in Maurice or JRs doghouse. Everytime I check the score sheet it seems like he has a goal and leads the team in shots. I'd really love to see what he could do in Dwyer's role, but I think it's pretty apparent he's never going to get a good look up here unless we are absolutely devastated by injuries.

He looked great yesterday I thought. He also looked pretty good when he was called up with the Canes last season. The guy can simple stay on the puck, and he can get the puck. He seems to have a solid offense sens about him also.

I'd agree that he's in at least one of their doghouses, but it is slightly his fault, because when he did play up here last season it seemed all he did was take some unnecessary penalties. He is definitely very good at cycling the puck though, and I would be in favor of giving him another chance if he keeps playing well.
