we take for granted how good the guy is. we watch him every night do stuff that isnt human

in some weird way, i would love to see what he could do on the pens or the redwings.

i really think he could break every record

thanks for the props

WHat a game by boyle though....
Even Prust to.
Boogard waste of money.

Seany wont be suspended. Komi dropped like a soccer player. Calamari suspension had to do with the stick to the face as well as the slash

I find the Rangers/Leafs games some of the most entertaining. Last year, they were hard fought too.
Tonight, I have a different perspective. The Rangers were ridiculously uneven. I have no clue how a team can let down like they did in the second and then play a decent game later. Yes, the Leafs were better in the first, but it was not exactly ownership.Much of the second period was the Rangers being owned.
Psychotic meds are needed to fix this, I fear. No team should have mood swings like this.

Why wasn't Sauer playing this game? I'd still like to hear why.

McD-Sauer with Gilroy as the 7th makes perfect sense. The current situation makes no sense.

Yeah, I'm seeing that too.

I hate to say this, but Staal hasn't been the same since Renney left.

I could care less about Staal's offensive stats. His decision making has been horrendous. I mean, this is his 4th year in the league.

Time for him to pull his head out of his behind and lead by example.

Yeah..why the hell is Boogaard on the team if he's not even going to HIT anyone, get in scrums or heaven forbid...fight?

I understand most guys won't fight him, but he's not even acting as a deterrent.... is it the coaching that keeps them reigned in?

We didn't deserve to win, even that one point was lucky and mostly Hank's.

Stupid penalty by Staal at the end, the defense just continues to be atrocious. Staal-Rozy were horrible, and I won't even start about eminger-Gilroy. At least DZ and Girardi (the only dman that looked solid in all three games thus far) were ok. The offense was anemic through two periods (10 shots on home ice, really?) and the partially woke up at least (missing gaborik didn't help of course).

Right now we look closer to the lottery than the playoffs imo, but I think it really is mostly the defense. I really think we have a more balanced and better offense than last year (that can change of course if Gabby misses significant time). I'm sure Staal and Rozy will rebound sooner or later, but I hate our 3rd pairing. I don't expect offense from the 3rd pairing, I just expect solid play in their own zone. Both Eminger and Gilroy are pretty much the opposite of that. If McD and Vtank aren't ready, Sather should try hard to bring in a cheap veteran and pair him with Sauer, so that the 3rd pairing isn't a liability anymore.

The positive is that we have 3 points from 3 games. That could be much worse.

May the rangers office see this post. Should have been that way from the start. Being a veteran means very little when you play the way Eminger does.

And now we're without Gaborik. Rough night.

It isn't just Eminger and Gilroy, each of our defensemen is flawed.

He definitely saved you guys a point tonight, great performance. Terribly frustrating to watch if you're not rooting for the Rangers though.. the game should have been settled in the 2nd IMO.

The strange thing is, IF in a few (3/4) years we are no further forward i would no hold any grudges if he asked for a trade to try win with a franchise that isnt run like a beer league team.

While I have no problem ever admitting I'm wrong, I also want some friggin recognition for warning ALL of you about Eminger the day we got him way back in the summer.

The guy is a D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R in his own zone, and has been for all 853458 teams he's played for since 2004.

With a straight face, I can tell all of you that Aaron Voros would be just as good playing defense for this team.

Dubi/AA/Cally have been the Rangers' best line, but, it's not a line that will produce enough to be this team's 1st line, which it is with Gaborik out. Frolov has not yet looked like a 1st liner. Boyle should get more ice time, as should Prust.

The Eminger/Gilroy pairing gave me heart palpitations. How does Eminger end up as one of the D-men on the PK at the end of the game?

Yeah, you could almost see Komisarek's sh-!-teating grin when he went to the box. It was an act. He knew we knew it.

But, you can't swing your stick and give someone the opportunity. We all know that, too.

I may very well be wrong.

But IMO doesn't mean they wont try to get Kennedy back up; the distinction between being waved at 550k and 275 k isnt much, unless the Devils want him.

You take out Gabby with ******** hit from behind your team should pay. Should have been Kessel.

Why does it take letting Avery off his leash to make this point? Why isnt The Boog beating the ever living crap out of Armstrong weather he wants to fight or not?
