Gaborik out 2-4 weeks | Drury out 6 weeks | Prospal out 6-8 weeks

http://twitter.com/AGrossRecord

Chris Drury out six weeks with broken left index finger. Same finger as before.

Marian Gaborik, separated left shoulder, out 2-4 weeks.

Vinny Prospal will undergo surgery on his knee on Tuesday and is out indefinitely. Whispers are he's done for the season.

Update: Surgery successful. http://rangers.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=540887

.... Well, the upside is we've been scoring without him.

Yeah, but still, I wonder if Frolov will have a goal by the time Gaborik comes back. Fro hasn't done much of anything so far.

Already prepared for any fail that comes my way.

After all, I deal with the 49ers on a weekly basis.

FML.

Get well soon, Gabby.

Can someone drive up to Boston and kidnap Kreider?.....2-3 weeks, thats not the end of the world, its only about 5-7 games. Just make sure he doesnt comeback too early like Drury did. In the meantime, I'd imagine the Hobbit will be coming our way.

Well... I guess we'll be seeing a lot of the youngsters... this really sucks, though we've been about as injury free in the past few years as a team could be.

This team has been oddly healthy since the lockout, so it was just a matter of time.

Thanks!

Who gets moved up next to Frolov- Callahan?

We don't have any 1st line RW's past Gab.

As much as I'd hate to say it, i'd be willing to bet on us losing the majority of our games until Gabs comes back.

Bottom line and its been the rangers problem all year we still can't dress a 1st line on this team. I still do not think White comes into the lineup nor do I expect him to mess with the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th line.

Lastly tho that 5-6 D pair wow if he thought Sauer needed to come out for Gilroy, they might has well just shop for a complete new set. If McD and V-Tank arent ready according to the management, then go trade for some 1 year stop gap vets because Gilroy looked terrible, and maybe it was just his first game back, but Eminger is just tough to watch, but I wouldn't be apposed to Sauer staying and playing right side..just need to find a key veteran lefty.

Frolov - Christensen - MZA?/Attempt a Kennedy recall?/???
Dubi - Ani - Cally
Aves - Steps - Feds
Boogey(fight someone! or atleast a monster check) - Boyle - Prust

all of them=Gaborik. I'm a huge drury fan but lets be honest about something. The guy is now our 3rd, maybe 4th, line center. And with Boyle/Prust and Callahan/Dubsinsky, we should still be fine in terms of our PK. As for the PP? Drury hasn't seen any real time as a PP guy in a while....so the answer to your question is Frolov. He came here to show the NHL last season was not the real him, that he really is that 30 goal guy...now hes looking at his chance to make himself a very rich man next summer.
