It's been fun. See you all next season!

Seriously though, that sucks. Gonna be tough playing without him. Our top line now consists of just Frolov.

Sucks about Gabby. They hopefully can survive a couple of weeks without him. Could of been worse. Too bad they sent down Kennedy instead of White.

Maybe the line looks like this now

Dubi-Anisimov-Callahan
Frolov-Stepan-Christensen
Avery-Boyle-Fedotenko
Boogaard-White-Prust

I liked what I saw from Fedotenko. He played like a power winger and stepped up his intensity when the top guys went down. He was more physical than I've ever seen him.

We'll see if Boyle is a changed man.

May as well. Its better than either Gilroy or Eminger

Well this means White for sure and EC back in the lineup.

not sure who is going to spare. Kennedy would of been good for that

Who saw this crap happening. Gaborik out sucks hardcore but it could be worse as long as its only 2-3 weeks

Drury on LTI sadly is not that bad since he hasnt done much as a Rangers

Prospal out of the year no big surprise

Gabs hasen't exactly shined in his first 3 games. Hopefully we'll continue to produce without him, but don't get me wrong, he'll still be missed pretty badly.

Yeah, but what do we do for the 1st line? We're going to have to dismantle our second line, which is a terrible thing to do at this point.

Little bit of good news, Christensen will be back Monday.

So... Its not pretty, but I'd go with this to at least utilize Christensen's wrist shot.

Frolov. Stepan. Christensen
Dubinsky. Anisimov. Callahan
Avery. Boyle. Fedotenko
Boogaard. White. Prust

Staal. Girardi
Del Zotto. Sauer
Eminger. Rozsival

Not pretty, but, what else can you do.

Other then saying eff it and bring up an un-ready Grachev, Zuccarello and Valentenko.

This team is going to have to pull together.

Give the 'C' at least temporarily to Callahan. Give an 'A' to Staal and Dubinsky. Time to officially hand the reigns over.

Well every team faces adversity at some point during the season. It's early on for the Rangers.

And here I was thinking Gaborik wouldn't be touched with Boogaard on the bench.

1.6mil for what?

Not that it makes Gaborik's shoulder heal any faster, but I would have really liked to see Armstrong man-up and drop the gloves with Avery.

sooo errr who gets called up to spare if anyone?

You have to play White since he's been here the whole time

Dubinsky, Anisimov, Callahan
Avery, Stepan, Fedotenko
Frolov, EC, White
Boogaard, Boyle, Prust

Drury being out doesnt mean much except for the fact thats 7 million on the cap. holy crap cant wait for that to run out

Prospal being out is no surprise

Feel bad for Kennedy. They may risk re-entry now given all of the guys going on the IR

Sauer is coming back in for freaking sure and lets hope they get another Dman in soon cause Eminger and Gilroy are pretty terrible

Time for others to step up.

Cheer hard for them.

We're 1-1-0-1??

Stepan = The time is now.

Dubi, Cally, Girardi, Zotto, Staal, Avery (Yes Avery), Boyle = Bring the heat every night. The last 2 might not be counted as the young core, but, they are part of it.

Henrik = keep doing what you do.

When we play the Leafs next, it's up to one of the following to tussle with Colby in no particular order:

Dubi
Cally
Prust
Girardi
Avery

We've been lucky since the lock out with injuries, far too lucky.

Get it done.

Without more information, I think Prospal getting surgery is a good sign. It means they think the problem can possibly be fixed because it clearly wasn't going to get better on its own. The season is early, they'll probably expect him back at some point in the 2nd half of the season.

He has played 13 minutes and 6 seconds in 3 games this year. Just over 4 minutes per game. Zero PIM. Not a single fight in camp, if i remember correctly (a nice little spear though). One assist is on the positive side - lol. WTF is going on here? Is he being held back by Torts? It certainly looks that way.

We got him. We overpaid him. Then for the sake of Frankenstein - Use him. Let the Boogeyman loose. Total mismanagement of a somewhat limited resource by Torts imo.

But we just lost Gaborik for 3 weeks, Drury is out for twice that, prospal most likely done for the year.

Lundqvist made a ton of amazing saves tonight, and we STILL lost. He gives us a chance to win everygame, no doubt, but the other players still have to show up.

pretty sure he meant boogie shouldve been on the ice the very next shift armstrong was, considering torts had last change it shouldnt have been that difficult. Not that it would've mattered you cant hit punch, kick or slash something you cant catch. Yet another failed goon signing by slats. good to see orr still getting a regular shift though. Someone remind me why we didnt just resign him?
