There's no way Boosh gets the start. He was awful against the Bolts and Bob, while lucky, was great in the first meeting.

Also, I'm declaring this a must-win game.

I think Letang should be suspended for that vicious, vicious hit on Comeau. If the league won't suspend him, I think that Bylsma should be honest enough to not dress him for this game at least.

Seriously, that hit looked like a text book hit to me. The kind of hit you try to teach young kids to make.

I called a 4-2 win for us in the last meeting, and it worked out pretty good, so let's say that again.

Yeah, the hit was fine. Didn't even touch his head. Comeau sold the **** out of it.

Absolutely a text book clean hit. No need for a suspension at all.

I dont ask for much in life. Is it asking for too much to have crosby or the ogre get beat down? richards needs to wake up as he is sleepwalking through these first 5 games, make crosby drop the gloves to fight you. Ogre is such a dirty player after the whistle. He runs and hides behind the refs. Someoen just grab him and rip off his overly large visor and just start throwing. Dotn worry about taking a penalty. You do that ogre will disappear the rest of the game

Yes it is because this is 2010, and not 1974

RT @FriedgeHNIC: Who would've thunk this game would be between Bobrovsky and Brent Johnson? RT @NHLFlyers From Laviolette: Bobrovsky gets the start tonight

As if that scrub Bobsonsomething shuts down the hockey gods. Guy wasn't even drafted or coached in his life. Another example of Holmgren's tomfoolery.

Does this mean Carter won't get stoned point blank when he has a wide open net?

Nope, He does it to everyone. All goalies are capable. Although, Fleury does seem to do it alot. Just wait for a big game moment and it'll happen....

That's part of why Leighton ended up running with the job. They were winning with Leighton and losing with Boucher.

True..

The reality is neither should be on this time.... Damn how good would of been for us to sign Dan Ellis?

well than make it a turn back the clock night! Doesnt have to be 1974 to pound someone. Escpacilly ogre when he does his nonsense after the whistle. someone needs to make him accoutnable for hs actions

Sometimes I actually miss having Gauthier because I feel like maybe he could blow one of those guys up. He probably would get out of position, not make the hit and wind up getting beat for a goal, but still I just think about how awesome it would be to see him hit Crosby like he did Straka.

What actions? Diving?

4 of the last 5 times the Flyers beat the Penguins in the regular season, there were no fights in the game.

Despite the record against the Penguins in recent years, they actually do pretty decent when the Flyers concentrate on playing the game instead of wasting their time proving how much tougher they are.

Flyers should come out full tilt and forecheck the Pens D. With Orpik, Michalek out on D, still missing Staal as their shut down centre and their back up goalie in net, there's no excuse to lose this game.

Not diving, ogre is a very dirty player with his after the whistle antics. Keep an eye on it if you remember. He takes little jabs at players then skates behind a ref or away altogether. I just hate those 2 and want to them beat donw, i know the chances that happens are slim to none but i can still hope.

He was pretty below average last game... Richie needs to simplify his game.
