The consensus by most people including these boards was MZA looked darn good but clearly needed a little while before he was ready. I wouldn't be oppossed to another week or so before he gets called up but when he does I expect him to stick and be a positive contributor.

Frolov - Christensen/White - MZA ????

Kind of meh, but worth a try if not only to keep the other lines intact.

Was supposed to go to this game tonight, but then plans fell through. Great to hear good things about MZA though.

Valentenko has been on the third pairing with Nigel Williams. He looked fine, but playing with Williams (who actually has been better than last year) is not giving him the best partner to move forward with. It is, however, good for the team, because Valentenko's physical defensive style offsets Williams less defensive style. He is getting reacquainted with this ice size. We shall see what happens down the road.

how has Niemi looked? not much has been said about him. I wonder why the Rangers wanted him.. he is young and seems to have some potential as a 5-6 dman with a hard shot and a little grit
