its just simply a lack of passion. the players and coaches are all good enough to play within a system, but nobody cares.

teammates and coaches dragging him down. tough to develop when you aren't challenged.

its amazing he did as well as he did last year. if the ahl is so disorganized and filled with no-talent slugs, the ohl must be ten times as bad.

Think of the players that don't want to be there: Kadri, Caputi, Finger, Mueller for sure, then likely Holzer, Mikus and Rynnas too, and probably more. Thats a lot of the major players, so no wonder they apparently don't care.

these marlies look like crap.

nice to see Kadri playing physical, at least.

though man is it scary watching these AHLers take runs at him. the AHL is a great place to get injured. lots of hacks trying to make names for themselves by taking runs at big name prospects.

Game was very slow to start, but has picked up on both sides in the second period.

Early start (I guess) took some adjusting on both sides.

That's a lame excuse. Great players make the people around them better. You're not supposed to suck because the people around you suck, you're supposed to look ****ing incredible in comparison and help improve their game. Fix your attitude.

Burke and Nonis will sort that out in due time.

Keller in the box. Let's see if this PP can tie up this game.

I'm at work so I can't watch the game, but the "sloppy" comments seem amusing.

AHL hockey always looks bad on TV, all minor pro leagues do. It's a lower caliber league than the NHL with more mistakes. Add that to the fact this is the Marlies 4th game with basically no preseason because the team was constantly changing and the second game in 18 hours and it's not surprising it's bad hockey. Doesn't help it's a Nationally televised game where the players want to make an impression either. That usually means more pressure, more mistakes and more chances taken. Every time there's an AHL game televised you see these types of comments.
