I dislike Ryan Hamilton quite a bit. I really don't get what Burke & Co. see in this guy. He stinks.

I think Kadri should stay down, probably for the full year. That said, I wonder if he will be like Bozak, wherein he just looks better playing with better players, a better brand of hockey. AHL hockey is just ugly, always has been. It's hard to watch really.

He seems to dog it occasionally, but I've seen him be absolutely physically dominant at times.

If I remember right, him, Scott, Mueller were my top Marlies in their 2-1 loss to Abbotsford.

Does anyone else think Marcel Mueller is going to be Alexei Ponikarovsky 2.0 + a physical edge? Perhaps he can take MacArthur's spot next year.

Well, I certainly hope MacArthur can replace MacArthur's spot next year with the way he's playing right now.

Caputi stood out but not always in a good way. I thought he looked better than Hanson though.

Finger didn't seem to be a very good AHL defenseman either.

Aulie was the only defenseman I think might help Leafs right now.

Danny Richmond is pretty darn good with the puck and pretty bad in every other way.

D'Amigo plays a brave game.

I was at the game today and one thing I noticed about Caputi is he cherry picks like CRAZY! I was right along the boards and he would always be in front of me during most plays waiting for a pass. I don't know if he was lazy or just really wants a goal but it really made the break out choppy and stopped everyone up at the blue line.

That being said, physically the guys a beast and a fairly hard worker in the corners, I just hope he doesn't think he's the Kessel of the Marlies lol

I was at the game, here are my thoughts.

Kadri was getting knocked around in the first period, but he returned the favour in the second and third, and he was taking runs at people. I don't think I saw him getting dropped after the 1st. Not his best game but I think it wasn't all that bad either. Strength will definitely put him into the next level.

Mueller stepped up for his team mate and fought whoever the goon was that hit Scott from behind into the boards. Not sure why he got a 10 minute misconduct, but it's good to see he's willing to do that.

Rynnas was ok, a little too active sometimes but overall pretty good. Sens goalie was great. 41 saves I think.

Hamilton kept losing the puck in his feet. Hanson and Caputi and Irwin used their size. I thought they had pretty decent games. Boyce is speedy.

D'Amigo was very invisible, IMO.

i doubt most of them know who nazem kadri is. they probably don't follow the draft and the hype as much as we do.

any examples of an ahler ever making a big name for himself by hurting a top prospect in the ahl?
