I'm still asking myself "where did this guy come from?". Nothing about this guy until now. I like him, a lot but where did he come from, no draft we just signed this guy...
I swear, every one of his responses to an interview question is money. It just screams "I'm here to do work."
If it's all genuine and it lasts, this kid could be a star with that type of attitude and work ethic.
He is all about it - His parents are his biggest influence in this. The Russian guy I work with told me ALL about it/him and how he goes about his business!
I just hope the organization doesn't screw this one up!
His work ethic is outstanding. In this interview, as many have noted, you get a glimpse of just how serious this kid is. He works like he has a chip on his shoulder; like he was the last to be picked and wants to prove to everyone that he can be the best.
Very mature responses and his work ethic apparently is top notch. He should do well and will adapt quickly I'm sure. Maybe his work ethic will rub off on Mr Nikolay.....
It was fun Sat night despite an "off" night in his play hearing everybody randomly yell..."Bob" in the Sponge Bob tone. They even did the Sponge Bob chant over the sound system...

Cool Q&A, thanks for sharing. I am glad he is up and looking like a pro goalie, hopefully he sticks as an important part of the rotation. All we need is an average goaltender to prosper, someone who is not going to lose focus or allow soft ones. If he can be that AND have a chance to develop into more for the future, well, we all owe the hockey gods a fruit basket.
Everything I've read since he came over shows he's really working hard and he's confident in himself. He knows exactly what he wants and he works hard to get it.

After almost every save I was yelling BOB! in the hopes of it catching on the way Boosh did, but for the most part I just got strange looks.
