Another Line Combo Thread

As we're rolling along here, I think a vision of our "healthy" roster is coming slightly more into focus. The question is: what do you foresee our "healthy" roster looking like?

I foresee the following:

Kunitz - Crosby - Kennedy
Comrie - Staal - Malkin
Cooke - Letestu - Asham
Rupp - Talbot - Dupuis
Godard

Orpik - Michalek
Martin - Letang
Goligoski - Lovejoy
Engelland

Fleury
Johnson

Note: Barring a total 180 in the play of Tangradi and Letestu, I think it's apparent that Tangradi will be sent back to WBS. I think that's fine. The kid has performed admirably and seems to have the tools, but is undeniably still a bit raw. Logistically, he's also the easiest player to move without any real implications.

Isnt there a sticky thread at the top for such things?

I would like to see that lineup. (With Comrie and Malkin swapped of course.)

Honestly, if Letestu continues this pace with Malkin on his side (being veyr optimistic here)

Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis
Comrie-Letestu-Malkin
Cooke - Staal - Kennedy
Asham - Adams - Rupp/Godard

Tangradi gets to develop in the AHL and comes up next year to take Dupuis' spot

No Talbot?

Godard/Rupp are the first 2 to go for me.

Why would Malkin be on the LW instead of Comrie. That makes zero sense. Comrie can play on the left side no problem, but Malkin is far more dangerous from the right side (as we've seen most nights). I guess I could see TK getting a shot up on Line 1 but I doubt it will last. It will be Dupuis eventually (and unfortunately until we make a trade). I can also see Letestu as 2nd line C or LW.

You're right re: Malkin...accidentally put him on the wrong side. I foresee Kennedy getting at least a stint in the top-6 at some point this season. I also foresee the Comrie - Staal/Letestu - Malkin line getting a reasonable amount of time together (obviously Comrie would be the most susceptible to getting moved), leaving a spot alongside Crosby as Kennedy's opening. Given the way Dupuis has played, it wouldn't surprise me to see him tossed to the 4th line for a bit. Just my thinking.

Does anyone else here agree that TK should get some time with Sid after how the two looked last night? Sid played a great overall game as he was battling in corners and backchecking like a crazy man! The few moments when TK and Sid were out there, it seemed like the two had great chemistry. Is it worth a shot to move Duper down to 3rd/4th line and give TK a game or two up?

Also, line combos...
1 - Kunitz - Crosby - Kennedy (really think TK has chemistry with Sid, and causes problems for other teams by being pesky...lets Sid pick of passes)
2 - Comrie - Letestu - Malkin (Showed signs of being scary good last night)
3 - Cooke - Staal - Asham (Bruising D line with some O upside)
4 - Rupp/Adams/Godard - Talbot - Dupuis (Can't get much better for a 4th line)
