Anyone play in Columbia, SC?

I tried the Canes board to no avail but to be fair Raleigh is about four hours from Columbia so I wasn't expecting much.

I'm joining my wife down in Columbia in a couple months and was curious if any of you play at Irmo IcePlex.

I've never played ice before (played rec/travel roller for a couple years as a kid) and am very excited to get that chance when I move down there. A few years ago I made it a personal goal to be playing ice by the time I'm 25 and if everything goes well I should make it.

I would be curious to know how many leagues/rinks they even have down there.

probably just a handful, 3 or 4 at most. I know Charleston has a really nice facility. I've played there.

The only local rink has three adult leagues, A, B, and C.

I wouldn't think the A league is anywhere near the caliber of A leagues elsewhere.
