Well, seeing it in print just reinforces how little talent the Rangers have up front with all of the injuries.

Anytime Prust is on your second line, you got problems.

torts = dufus. nice work clownboy.

boyle on line 4 where hell get 5 minutes. yeah, hes only been one of our best forwards.

prust on line 2 with his lobster claws for hands playing with 2 skilled guys.

swap those 2 torts. way to reward boyle for his excellent play since day 1 of camp.

i know, i know.... the lines will be all mixed up after the first 5 minutes but still, it more torts cluelessness.

is it just me or is that one baaaaadddddd looking lineup

Glad to have Mike back in the lineup. Rest of the team is about as much as you could expect.

I think Eminger will sit. He can't play the left side - not that Gilroy is exceptional at it, but he is the better option on the left.

Agreed. He has no business being up there.

Ew. No reason Prust should be on the second line when you have other more talented players in Hartford, like MZA, Kennedy and Grachev.

i can only imagine the frustration of frolov...

i think prust is out there on the 2nd to make sure hes on the ice long enough to serve as a deterent for players taking liberties with our "top" players. i wouldnt be surprised if he has been given the green light to do some damage and cause some pain

Boyle doesn't belong on the second line either. They have to split up that third line and move Fedetenko up, or call someone up from Hartford...preferably MZA.

either swap boyle and prust, or swap fedotenko and prust, and then prust and boyle.

So it breaks down:

Brandon Dubinsky (2nd liner) - Artem Anisimov (2nd liner) - Ryan Callahan (Should be a 3rd liner)
Alex Frolov (Borderline 1st liner) - Erik Christensen (Waiver material) - Brandon Prust (4th liner)
Sean Avery (3rd Liner) - Derek Stepan (Future 1st/2nd liner) - Ruslan Fedotenko (3rd liner)
Derek Boogaard (4th liner) - Todd White (AHL player) - Brian Boyle (One of Rangers best forwards so far and is on 4th line )

Yep. It's like Groundhog Day every year with this team. Not enough top-end talent.

I mean when everyone is healthy, it won't be that bad:

Frolov - Prospal - Gaborik
Dubinsky - Anisimov - Callahan
Avery - Stepan - Fedetenko
Boogard - Boyle - Prust

But until then,

Any lineup with Boogaard in it makes the club weaker than it needs to be. He is useless.
