Why? We were #3 last year with them on the backend.... we split them up so far which resulted in them both not having a point yet and one of the worse pps so far. Richie doesnt need to be on the back end for the pp to work.

That's one of a long, long list of reasons I hate Perry. But he definitely deserves to be dealt with about that cheapshot. I suspect he'll pull his usual badass stuff tonight - you know, hiding behind the linesmen, refs, and Parros, so that no one can deal with him properly.

He's a puke and he'll always be one. Even when he's wearing the Team Canada jersey.

I hate it when you resort to circumlocution.

It hasn't been sucking because of them, it's been sucking because of everyone. And Richards is awesome from the point on the man advantage. Timonen and Pronger were together on it just about all last year once Laviolette took over, it's just unnecessary.

Richards on the point, and Pronger in front of the net (Hatcher style)? That'll really confuse them...

And it worked with those two together. Why switch it? And Im pretty sure they were together even when Stevens was coach. It was cause it worked. Richie doesnt need to be on defense for it to work. Pronger has a great slapshot from the point and Timonen is a great passer who can set Pronger up. I'd rather Richie on the top pp unit but I was never the biggest fan of him on the backend. Timonen-Pronger worked, and I dont have a problem with them going back to it.

I agree with this. I think that if anyone should play point on the PP, it should be Giroux, but personally I'm fine with our D men back there.

The Duckies gave up the most shots per game (33.4) in the Western Conference last year and now they're without Neidermayer.

...LETS GO FLYERS

Feels like forever since the Pens game...

Zherdev, Briere, Richie and Hartnell score tonight. I'm confident we get the W.

Glad to see Laviolette throwing Bob right back out there. That was the mistake they made with Nitty, whenever he got a shot to be the #1. He'd have one bad game then bench him for the next week.

Gotta throw him back out there right away. Stick with him through the ups and downs, you don't learn anything stewing on the bench for a week thinking about your last bad game.

acceptable attire. i will always have a soft spot for charlie conway and the gang.

anywho, i think the flyers are going to rebound in a big way tonight, possibly spongebob's first shutout. 4-0 final.

edit: if i recall correctly, goldberg was a flyers fan. that jersey is basically a flyers jersey anyway.

I just hope the whole team wakes up, stops with the ******** and owns them and give Bobo his first shutout.

Flyers get the benefit of a third opponent in a row that played the night before. Let's hope they don't waste it once again.
