Harrold probably wouldn't clear waivers.

I imagine they will send out Lewis or Loktionov, make Harrold the 13/14th forward and Wiske the 7th D.

Lewis will stay IMO. He'd have to clear waivers and I think he'd be picked up pretty fast.

Voynov is playing his first game. Moller and Azevedo are out due to injury. Monarchs out shot 5-1 in first minutes of game in Portland!

No one has looked overly impressive and I don't necessarily expect them to this early in the season. I am not calling Hickey a bust just that he hasn't played well yet. I liked what I saw of him last season and I expect he will get back to that as long as he can stay healthy.

Thank you for the updates kkempy.

I agree it's way too early in the season to be calling anyone anything yet, and I know you weren't calling Hickey a bust ... I was just trying to temper the expect prancing boy type of posts calling him a bust prematurely 3 games into the season, because I too expect Hickey to be one of the better D-men in Manchester by years end.

And it's not a knock on Harrold, but I think he'd clear and think he'd be a great mentor for the young guys in Manchester.

That was before Voynov and Kaunisto were sent to Manchester though.
So I'd assume some combo of Zach Harnden, Jordan Hill and/or Michael Pelech to be sent to the Ontario Reign soon ?

And you'd assume Teubert and Cliche' will be activated and with the Monarchs also before too much longer, so more roster moves to get kids ice time will have to be made.

lol Voynov ties the game with 15 seconds left in the game, I guess that's a good way to return to the lineup hahaha

I assume you've heard by now but just in case... goal was given to Kozun who redirected it.

That's right, keep bangin the Kozun drum, I have been since seeing him play in jrs and I am positive that he will make some noise in the NHL somewhere, hopefully here.

One of the happiest recent draft memories for me was when BK was drafted by us. I hope he keeps putting up the points and knocking people around.

Probably same feeling I had when we drafted Toffoli, been watching Tyler since his first year in Ottawa. He's a friend

Same way I felt about watching Sydor in juniors...didn't turn out so well for the Kings.

So, I guess Voynov didn't bolt to Russia, after all.

Doesn't help when the fans completely ruined his confidence by booing him every time he touched the puck.

When DS played for the loops he was golden.

I was at his pre season game at the Tacoma Center for his rookie year and he looked great then too. He was a good player for us, he could have and should have been better but there were mitigating circumstances in my opinion.

When we dealt him he sure seemed to work out for Dallas.
