The team barely got 2 goals over the last 2 games, both were late period goals. If we were facing better teams, both would have been shut outs. We need to start scoring more, especially on the powerplay.

Phanuef needs to stop playing hockey like hes playing NHL 11 (and sucks at it), keeps chasing plays, pinches excessively. If anything, play it like those guys that have there hitting at 99 and just run at players, that would be better then getting caught deep in the zone, allowing a 2-1.

Already been said enough, but phanuef needs to hit the net. I say, aim low, instead of trying to pick a corner, most times the puck explodes of the goalies pads right out into the slot.

Versteeg needs to deke on those breakaways, everyone seems to be expecting that glove side shot.

Schenn needs to continue being Schenn.

Bozak needs to shoot a little more, stop nut hugging Kessel and hog it a little bit more for yourself.

Kaberle has been very good but sometimes I think hes just shooting for the hell of shooting. He needs to make things happen on the powerplay, he is the QB.

We need to step up our PP as a whole, we aren't good enough to get away with not scoring on the PP.

Our PK has been amazing but this will be a huge test, a PP with Richards, Pronger, Carter and Giroux to name a few. Defense needs to keep up its good work, even in our loses, we can take some pride that we only allowed 2 goals in each.

Hopefully the team has woken up and really brings their best effort out tomorrow. Can only win if they are just working harder than the other team. Definitely need the forwards to get going as well since not going to win many 1-0 games.

Haven't heard one way or the either, but I wouldn't be surprised if he spends one more game out. Schenn got 3 games in the press box last year, maybe Wilson is following that line of thinking again.

Too bad I'll be at a concert (hopefully a good one).. first game I'm missing this year, win it for me boys

Good to see Gunnar back. Z has been fine in the 4th line role so maybe Brent is out?

Doesn't matter which guy on the bottom 5 comes out, Mitchell's a nice upgrade on all of them.

You guys are overreacting IMO. Mitchell knows he's on a short leash.. impress, or back to the press box.

The Leafs are giving him a bit of ice so he actually remembers what a game is like if injuries hit and he actually needs to go in. Does he deserve it? Not necessarily, but I'm not too concerned over this - staying in the line-up will hopefully be good motivation to play it safe and not try to do too much.

And they are 4-1-1, imagine if they were 1-4-2 or something like that. I really think that people need to lighten a bit. But, hey, whatever floats their boat I guess. It's just that, it is tough coming in here sometimes for people who are feeling positive (like me). There are people who seem to want to squash any kind of positive feeling that is around. It is frustrating.

I predict by the end of tomorrow night the Leafs are 4-1-2.

Happy to see Gunnarson back in.

I'm not sure what Wilson's reasoning was for benching Bozak, but in my opinion he should be back in tomorrow night.

If Bozak gets sat for Mitchell Burke should fire Ronnie.

But is it even confirmed that Wilson said Mitch is in?

Ron Wilson says on the Watters show that he's penciled Carl Gunnarsson and John Mitchell in to play on Saturday vs. Flyers. Not 100%.

We can not score any goals, and it wouldn't be that big of a step back

I'm not too confident here. Philly is usually pretty tough at home and they are coming off a loss as well.

They are a better team top to bottom. I'm sure we can beat them but, I wouldn't throw a bet on it.

4 - 2 Flyers is what I see happening.
