OCTOBER SCHEDULE:
QUOTES TO NOTE:
I definitely think this was our most complete effort yet. We were really hard on the forecheck and strong in our own zone.
I really think it was a strong 60-minute effort, and it's going to take another 77 of those this year to get us into the playoffs.
- Dan Girardi
We set a high mark tonight and that's gonna have to be the mark we reach every game.
I think we have to challenge one another to get to that point.
- Martin Biron
I thought everybody contributed in all areas. Our neutral zone play was where we really improved.
We have to play that way and that has to be a game we play all the time.
- John Tortorella

Hi. B's fan here, i come in peace.. Just wondering where you got the projected D pairs? I like them a lot. I am hoping for a good hard fought game with Avery free antics.

Negative? More like realistic. Bruins are a good team, no shame in losing to them.

Lets get it on
, So pleased to see though that the Rangers have continued there new influx of youth. I see most of the guys added in secondary roles Ie. line 2 or 3 but as for stars Rangers have never ever had a problem acquiring them thru FA. When Drury and Rosey are gone the Rangers are going to make a huge jump into being 1 of the top 6 easily in the NHL. great JR. drafts have created that.

Another Bruins fan here. Just thought I'd let you guys know you probably won't have to run into the tank Timmy Thomas tonight. Correct me if you know something I don't, but, Tuukka Rask hasn't started since the season opener in Prague and Claude Julien has said Rask would get some time in this weekend.
Rask this year:
GP: 1 | W: 0 | L: 1 | OT: 0 | SV% .889 | GAA: 4.00 | SO: 0
Rask vs NYR:
GP: 3 | W: 2 | L: 1 | OT: 0 | SV% .957 | GAA: 1.34 | SO: 1
Enjoy guys!

Rangers win 2-1 or 1-0. Rangers-Bruins games are always low scoring.

These games are usually low scoring. I remember one recently up there that was a 0-0 blockfest and a shutout that Hank lost in a SO.
Boston is going to be a good team this year, so the Rangers have to concentrate on playing their game and not letting them take control. I think the game plan should be the forecheck again, owning the neutral zone and keeping the Bruins offense to the perimeter.
The Rangers played a great road game against Toronto and they need to do the same if they want points in Boston, but I think theyll have to cash in on the great chances they get because A. I dont think theyll be too many and B. Thomas has been red hot. A .978 sv%? is that for real? lol
I feel like Stepan is going to have a good one, and Frolov needs to score again - not sure if he will but he needs to to get his confidence up. He needs to get into shooting position better.
