Letang? Talbot? Crosby?

I guess these are all Pens players still bitter they got owned by an 8th spot team last season, and somehow show up with the pathetic excuse that "... STAAL WAS HURT BY SUBBAN!!!".

I know we won, but don't you think Martin could try something like

Halpern - Gomez - Gionta
Pouliot - Eller - Lapierre
Pyatt - Boyd - Moen

?

I'm bitter on the pens because they injured Markov, and Markov is more important to the Habs than Staal is to the Pens.

Carey Price and Andrei Kostitsyn have been great so far this season. They were both under more media pressure than Mike Tyson at a fair fight before the season, yet they have delivered like Cory Monteith at a GQ photo shoot. Big hands up right there Or should that be hands down?

Great win for Carey. He was great tonight. Real happy he got the shutout! His first in two years. I'm also loving this AK. With his brother off the team, he's a machine! I love it! Also, Eller is really impressive. His strength is great.

Can we count this as a home win ?
Kudos to the fans, they were loud all game long.

Habs played the perfect road game, no player ever got caught out of position (except Picard when he went for that easy hit on Neil), nice speed all around...

And Subban (again) wowed me tonight. Can't wait to see him paired with Markov.
Great game by Price and Kostitsyn too.

Still, that wasn't really a flawless performance.

- The Gomez line remains silent, though the hustle was there along with flashes of brilliance.

- Habs have had a lot of trouble in the circle tonight.
Plekanec 15% (!)
Gomez 29%
Eller 33%

Halpern 67%, brilliant as usual.
(0 for 1 on the ring though)

Fortunately, the Sens were dreadful tonight and did nothing of much value with the possession they had. The few times they did, Price was up to the task.

Now, off to bed.
I'm going to sleep well. =)

Great games from our boys tonight!

But let's be honest here guys, we need some players that will prevend the other teams to take run at our best players. It's getting ridiculous! Most of our fans were saying "At least we got the PP to fear the opposing team" and now, it doesn't work anymore and i always hate that mentality. So, comon, bring some toughness God Dammit!

We need to give Eller someone to play with. Moen and Darche ain't cutting it. Give him Gionta who's doing nothing with Gomez.

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Kostitsyn
Pouliot - Gomez - Lapierre
Boyd - Eller - Gionta
Pyatt - Halpern - Moen

Eller could do some damage with those 2. I love how he killed that guy along the boards in the 1st period today

Yup!
(As for the stream, I'm using Center Ice on ESPN Player. The feeds are very good!)

What sucks the most is the time difference though. :/

Glad to know I'm not the only one staying up that late for the love of the Habs.

I think we're tied with the Leafs for the division lead right now.

I think the real Andrei Kostitsyn is back. His game has turned around the minute he quit being in reaction instead of taking matters in his own hands. The best proof was his second goal when he went to position himself to get an easy rebound on a fabulous and manly play by Cammalleri. He's really much more hungry for the puck, I hope he keeps it up.

Subban was once again a beast. I loved Pyatt tonight and what about Pouliot! Eller also showed us interesting signs, I believe what he's missing to get more ice time is a notch of consistency in his intensity, but the guy is working on it, he'll get there. Price was solid when tested, good to see him play with poise.

Really loved the team tonight, everyone did a good job and played smartly when the sens we're trying to goon it up.

Holy crap what a goal by Eberle!

And with both Ottawa and Buffalo struggling, the situation is not bad at all.

Can't wait to see Markov paired with Subban.

Maybe we should ask Brisebois to come out of retirement.

You could tell Price had confidence as he was skating out a lot to handle the puck. Haven't seen him do this in quite awhile the way he did it tonight.

Super Happy for Price!!!

Amazing game by Subban and Kostitsyn.

OT: I know why Kovalchuk was a healthy scratch tonight. Coach wanted to show us that Kovy wasnt the reason why the team sucked

PP and toughness...I call it Tough PP. Yes people, our PP is our toughness. If you have a tough PP you will get that puck in that net with no problem and avoid cheap shots and fights. The more PP you got the better it is. twss.

No, but seriously. We should pick up Sheldon Souray.

After an OT loss and 2 regulation losses that should hopefully quieten down those cocky Leaf fans who were strutting around here after the first 4 games of the season..
