if I was Martin and I wanted to be bold, I would do something like:
Pouliot - Plekanec - AK46
Pyatt - Gomez - Gionta
Cammy - Eller - Moen
Moen - Halpern - Lapierre
man i was JUST thinking something like this.. but honestly you need to take pyatt off of gomez and gionta, but i like the spread you made still
at the begining of the year id of balked at such a line up, but the way martins been makin the line ups recently, ..this one you put out (again with pyatt being the only thing id change) doesnt look all that bad because Eller SERIOUSLY needs some talented players to wing him, because you can just watch him out there, this guy gives it ALL and he's got talent to back up the hardwork!
Missed the Eller hit as well. I hope they reshow it on RDS game recap.
They usually add all the highlight's to the Vid recaps, including hits, but they didn't put it up. Maybe they will later, weird they put up the wimpy Picard one?.
I'm so happy about this game. It's so refreshing to see the Habs winning by more than one while playing consistently well for a whole game. I know Ottawa sucked, but still Congrats boys.
I thought it was really funny because it was Regin that Eller just completely ran over. I thought someone said he looked up to him or something, both being from Denmark and all, but it looked like he saw it was Regin and just picked up speed and decimated him on purpose. I honestly chuckled out loud, probably the biggest Dane on Dane collision in NHL history was witnessed tonight

Probably the only Dane on Dane collision the NHL has ever witnessed
Loved the Eller hit, Pouliot and AK looked good and so happy Price got the shut out.
Tied with the Leafs now, their chant of 4-0 has hit a wall and glad to see that.
You know your a good player when every team you play has their goons and better players running you...Subban you are a player, and teams are scared!
Sens coach is a meathead and dirty, numerous times during the game he had Neil, Ruutu, Carkner and Foligno out together to cause crap...karma is a ***** Ottawa and karma is knocking!

The problem with those line is the 3rd and 4th....Moen twice. Ok sure prob a typo
HAving said that, take Moen out of the 3rd and add Darche or Boyd to it. Keep Cammy with Plekanec and AK46 and double shift him from time to time with the G brothers. I`m not crazy about Pyatt with the Gs but it`s temporary IMO so no biggy.
He said he turned into it. Which is true. You can't turn when you see a guy coming.
Actually it was worse than that. Van Riemsdyk stuck his butt out and bent over so his head would hit first. DUMB!
BUT! It was still a dirty hit by Armstrong. Cherry has no trouble finding fault with players on other teams when Leafs are the target. 5 min was the right call
If it means putting eller on the GG line to get them going, we should. Pools certainly deserved to be back up there tonight though. We need to put him on that line for a few games in a row instead of the Darche/Moen/Pyatt experience.
It wasn't much different than the NJ game in all honesty, except the habs finished some chances.
I dont know if Price likes the light workload, most goalies tend not to react well to it, but we've seen multiple cases this season already where he wont see a shot for a significant portion of a period, only to be called upon to make tough save when the shots actually start coming. I've been impressed with how he has responded to those situations thus far. It cant be easy.
One more thing, if Picard plays like he did the last 2 games on a somewhat consistent basis, then he is certainly an acceptable #6/#7 d-man, and I should eat serious crow.
I just got back a few minutes ago. My AK jersey must have been a beautiful sight for the Sens' fans at SBP.
Was THRILLED to see Price get the shutout. I wasn't even thinking the word since I felt it'd jinx it. I was afraid when people starting chanting the "na na na na"s that Ottawa would score one.

Game ended 3:40 AM over here but the win and Price's shotout made it worth it.
The PP isnt clicking, our big name players have a lot more to prove, defence sure could use Markov, still we are winning games which is a good sign.
Subban is just a joy to watch and Price looks really good.
Hopefully AK and Pouliot get going after their goals and the PP get a lucky bounce in goal anytime soon.
I imagine Auld will get his first start this coming week with 4 games on the schedule. Most likely one of the back to back games Friday or Saturday. But nothings for sure I'm just assuming Martin will want to give Price a break and that appears to be the most likely time.
Sorry I'm not going through 20 pages of the GDT so if anyone wants to say how our 4th line center did I'd appreciate for what responses are available in this thread. I only saw a small amount of the game tonight...just curious
I didn't watch the game either but I just checked out the Blues vs the Pens highlights and wow, some guy we traded for Eller stoned a guy named Crosby over and over again.
Figures the game Price gets a shutout his former team mate wins a game basically on his own in a 1-0 overtime victory.
