If I remember correctly didn't score a goal in his first four games with the leads last year? I guess since weise was a dud he was the best option for a bottom 6 spot .

Didn't the Whalepack just play back to back nights?

this will be three in row for Williams if he starts!

I really don't understand the re-entry rule.

It hurts players in almost all cases.

Without it....the salary cap would be completely deterred as we could call upon redden whenever we wanted (just an example).

Waiver eligible players have a chance to be picked up by another team before being sent down. Kennedy wasn't. I don't really understand the decision to send him down, but there's nothing to be done about it now.

Jeremy Williams is expected to play, same with Prust. It's White who will sit.

TK should've stayed. White is useless. Hopefully Kennedy signs another one/two year deal at the end of the season.

Niether White nor Williams will be effective on the 4th line. Might as well bring up a grinder if that's the spot that needs to be filled.

And it's pretty obvious White will be with the team as long as his cap hit is not an issue. Until they the space, he's going to be here.

But his cap hit is an issue. I mean he's costing 2.3M against the cap...that's a lot when you talk about deals at the deadline. I mean that's like two 4M guys you could bring in. I guess I'm actually happy about it...if it ties Sather's hands maybe we're better off. lol

It doesn't seem to be an issue for the organization--they are the ones keeping him on the roster. We'll see what happens when one the players on the IR is ready to come back.

STILL don't understand why there are so many up in arms about Kennedy. Get over it. He's a 4th liner that staff didn't think fit into the scheme of things. If he wasn't eligible for waivers I wonder if it'd even be a discussion.

IMO White stayed and is still only here because we lacked depth at center. Losing Prospal and Drury for extended time made it even clearer. White still here is nothing more than an extended look.

I would rather see Dupont than any of them. Weise would have been my first choice.
