Well it was really a AHL paced game, you could see that the Dogs have way more skills than the Oilers farm but for some reasons (a third game in as many days maybe?) it wasnt clicling very well.. I have to say I hate refs trying to steal the show and this is what happened today, alot of irrational calls, underserved penalities that broke the play several times..

I dont understand very well the hype on Carle, this guy is so average, tons of Mathieu Carle in the AHL..

Weber probably didnt play his best game of the season, Ive nothing to say about him, I think it wasnt the best game to evaluate him properly.. didnt look particulary solid..

Nash is an interesting prospect..

Its sad for the kid but I think David Desharnais is a carreer AHL, I just dont see his game translate to the next level, he is too small and not fast enough to play in the big league..

I was impressed with Maxwell MaxPac and Palushaj.. It could be a pretty good third line for us next year..

Cammalleri Pleks A.Kost

Eller Gomez Gionta

MaxPac Maxwell Palushaj

Lapierre\White Pyatt Moen

Another off night for the Dogs, although they have played 6 games in 9 days, and at least they picked up a point. Nash with another good game, White was good again, he had a good fight in the previous game and Desharnais with a nice setup on the Nash goal. Good to see Palushaj back, thought he played well.

Can't wait for Sanford to come back, slated to be back in around 10 days last I heard, will be nice to have one of the top goalies in the leaue back in action. Dogs right back at it with 5 games in the next 9 days starting this Tuesday.

Not that it matters a whole lot....but any indication as to what will happen to Delmas once Sanford returns. 'Cause something tells me there's no room for him in Wheeling either. 'Cause I'll believe Killeen and Modig are locks for Wheeling, while we have a deal with them, something tells me we will loan Delmas to another ECHL team....

How did White play ? Does he look hungry enough to get an invitation from the Habs ?

He played well, he hits the post with a good shot, he is the first one called up if injuries happen on our bottom 6.. On another hand, I see more a guy like Palushaj or MaxPac being called up if one of our 3 best wingers gets injured..

Gotta say I loved Nash at the Habs' camp, and his start in the AHL is encouraging. He still has work to do on his defensive game, but he has size and great offensive instincts, and is not afraid to pinch in or go for the big play. I definitely feel he will be an NHLer down the road. Maybe for once one of our college free agents will pan out!
