Lindback played great. He also has horrible rebound control. Another win. Wow.

It was a weak hit by Erat but he didn't have to touch the guy. That's 2 very stupid penalties by Erat. Very nice win!

I thought so. but speaking of saves, we shouldnt need 42 of them to win games, we need reinforcements, a welcome 3 days off.

Not sure how we pulled that out but I will take it. Hopefully, the guys will get it together over the next few days and be ready for the Blosers on Thursday.

It seems like he and the rest of the team has an agreement. Lindback stops the first shot, they make sure they cover up the rebounds. I was really impressed by how Nashville cleared up rebounds and tied up the sticks of TB players looking for the rebounds. Lindback is very good at the first stop, and is quick to recover. So as long as they don't get to take the rebound straight away, it often ends up ok.

Was quite unlucky with the 3rd goal against.

Yeah, It seemed to me we had a problem last year clearing rebounds, and it bit the Preds too often. So I was worried when I heard Lindback left a lot of them in the wrong spots. But the guys have done a nice job clearing rebounds this season. It's been a strength of the D-men this year, not a weakness.

Yeah. I think it goes two ways though. He started off good, so the team started to really trust him to make the first save. That lets them focus on the rebounds, since they don't have to worry as much about blocking and so on, but rather at following the puck and their men for the rebound.

I hadn't thought of how the confidence in the first save helps the D-men do that, but that makes sense.

How come Bouillon played the most minutes for defensemen? Why not Weber?

Also, why did Horny play so little?

Cause Cube played one more even-strength shift than Weber did.

Part of Horny playing less was cause we weren't on the PP but maybe one time and we were on the PK a bunch. Not only does that distort time played for the guys who took PK shifts, but it also messes up the lines coming out of the PK. Notice Smitty has 4th most TOI for the Fs - when that happens you know we're playing a lotta' shorthanded time and playing a more defensive game - neither of those would be where Horny sees a ton of time.

Me! Me!

It's fun, but it is early in the season. Wink.

Lindback sounds very similar to Ellis while he was here - stop the first shot, but have terrible rebound control. This will bite us on the PK when we need him to gobble up pucks and stop the game. Ellis was great 5v5 but on the PK he wore out our skaters.
