I was at the game tonight and it could have been a lot worse. He was very close to the bench and the medical staff acted very quickly. He was at the hospital in about 5 mins. Nothing worse than seeing a player in that manner. Hope to see him recover soon.

Pictures of the incident (doesn't show any blood, so it's not too gruesome) and the 100 stitches/15 staples to the neck (semi-gruesome to see). Could have been much worse obviously. Sounds like at worst it could be two months of recovery pending further review on Friday. I've heard through the grapevine that he's taking it o.k. and should be fine.
