Well, this could be Sulzer's last chance to crack the lineup in Nashville. He'd better make the most of it or he may be back in the AHL.

Suter is like superman, You Don't expect him to get hurt, but when he does it just sucks LoL

As for the Ds maybe something like this could happen Webs gets like 30 mins, Klein and Cube with 21 each, SOB with 18 and Franson and Sulzer with 15 mins.

I think i could live with that kind of distribution.

Suter get well soon

with no callup from Milwaukee its obvious Sulzer is going to get his chance.

here's hoping he realizes this is probably his last shot at poving he can play in this league and he gives a great effort.

Trotz should use the Franson/Sulzer pairing against Crosby or Malkin

He better pick up his game then. There's a lot of talent sitting right behind him ready to move in.

I'm sure Bylsma will throw out his Kunitz - Crosby - Malkin super line every time Franson ices the puck...

This reminds me...we have a tendency, and Franson and Klein are the absolute WORST with this, and it kills me, to take unnecessary icings. Like, clear lane to a forward out of the zone and across the red line. I was always taught that icing should be a last resort, not a crutch. At least we seem better at winning defensive zone faceoffs this season than last.

Agreed, but I hope it meant they "worked out" with Coach Good which generally involves both a off and on-ice workout as the players come back from injury...

Laakso is back in Milwaukee. Now, is Klein better from the flu? If not we might see Suter on Thursday.

Christ, getting medical information is like trying to crack into the CIA.

(Well, unless you are an Edmonton reporter....)

Bryan Mullen just tweeted an update...

Offically, Goc and Suter are out for at least the next two games and Lombardi is being listed as week-to-week, which I'd assume means he's not close right now and will get weekly exams before being allowed to resume training.

Lombardi concerns me. We heard yesterday that Goc and Suter were working out, but it sounds like Lombardi is completely shut down right now...

I won't lie. I have a feeling the term 'LTIR' is in his future. I hope I'm wrong but ironically, a head injury took out the guy who took Arnott's spot on the roster.

Funny how the world works

How did this happen any way? I don't remember him ever getting hurt or hit that hard in a game.

Just saw Suter at A plus sportsplex in Franklin, he was in a Knee brace, but he was walking just fine, lets hope he gets it going soon.

Not to be picky, it's A-Game Sportsplex if you're referring to the practice tonight. If not then never mind.

You are being picky, but also right, lol, the information is true though. Suter was walking just fine.

so as usual, Trotz's "its nothing he'll be back any day" is just sunshine up the wazoo.

I just hope this means we are getting our injuries over early rather than in march when they usually hit..

According to the fishwrap, Goc is expected to make the western swing trip and Suter is "getting better" and will "probably" make the trip. Ugh.
