Anyway, good game by everyone but Shelley, Powe and Nodl with ****ed up penalties. Man.... I hope Flyers as a team will clean it up.

Don't forget the "made mention" obsession. The over/under per game is six.

Afleet Alex is lingering in the back of the pack.
Jeremy Rose has yet to make a move on him and he's running unstrongly.
Giacomo leads but...
Afleet Alex just ran right by Giacomo like he was standing still.
Afleet Alex is opening up with a tremendous burst of energy. He's five lengths in the lead.
A compelling outstanding performance by the plucky Afleet Alex. He won by six or seven lengths.

my predictions from tonites after game dressing room:
Bob to get the start for the next game..
team to get a total ass rippin yell-a-thon from Lavi about NOt playing 60 minutes of hockey..
followed by several more coke machines being executed, hahahah...
that is all..
ps: nice to see the Flyers bury Miller under 5 goals and a empty net..NICE

I'm shocked and appalled that Carcillo is apparently being shopped.
Somehow, in some strange way, Jody Shelley has more of a place on this team than Dan Carcillo...

Link? Not too surprising....they barely signed him in the offseason and he's not Lavy's favorite despite his words of reassurance...

Courtesy of DCM, citing twitter. I don't use twitter, so I'll be waiting for more details. But it may explain why Carcillo was not in the lineup tonight...

Apparently not so much anymore if he's being put in the press box in favor of Andreas Nodl.
We can talk about Shelley all we want, but it's Nodl who he is really fighting for time with. They both are more defensive-minded. Whether they're truly shutdown players is still a work in progress, but now they even score goals, too.

Well yeah, Flyers on PK in almost every game because of Shelley. Shop Carcillo. #45 is looking good

Sorry for quoting myself, but what I didn't even think off was that October 26th is an Austrian national holiday, since this is the day when in 1955 the last soldier from the occupation after WWII left and Austria declared neutrality. It is kind of like Austrian independence day, though independence was declared earlier. I would have remarked on that earlier, but to me it's already 4:20 in the morning the next day
Anyway, really befitting for both austrians to score

I know. The Mayan calendar was only predicting it for 2011.

Why the hell aren't we scratching shelley and playing carcillo in his place?
This team still can't play 60 minutes a night.
At least we won.

He must have said or done something off the ice nobody is talking about. aybe *****ing at Laviolette or something. But anyway if we trade him we need another agitator so I say Carcillo for Clutterbuck.

Good game. Made it a little too close at the end.
I heard on WIP Laviolette laid pretty hard into them after last night.
I thought Zherdev looked not too bad tonight.
Carter open that much of an open net...sigh
Giroux looked good.
Edit: I forgot.
Bob looked good. That one big save he made was awesome.
And, Briere looked like someone gave him a talking to.

Hopefully they can build on this. Consistency is an issue right now. Last night at Columbus was a horrible effort. The powerplay had success tonight and that is something that was a concern entering tonight.
