this is an injury no one's talking about, and that worries me a bit. When Trotz was asked about it, he seemed to clam out and said that he was "out indefinitely" and then changed the subject. Nothing resembling an update since.

Anyone know if Lombardi has a history of concussions? Don't they have a cumulative affect, getting worse with each additional occurrence? Seems like Arny would sit longer and longer with each knock on the noggin'.

Concussions are hard to gauge as every one of them are different. They do tend to worsen with each, and recovery time also tends to be longer.

He has a concussion. He'll be better when he's better. You can't rush these things, and no hockey game is worth a person's long-term health. It's one thing to play hurt when it's something you can't make worse. Playing hockey with a concussion is just asking for bad, bad trouble.

Whatever it takes for him to be completely healthy for the playoffs. I hope karma is getting all our injuring out of the way at the begining of the year instead of the playoffs like normal.
