Price can't play all 82 games. He's already played a back-to-back situation earlier in the month and we are going to be seeing some tougher opposition as early as next week so he needs to be rested. If people can't understand that.... Well, you get the idea.

Myself personally, I think it would be hilarious if Auld got a shutout to see if any "Let's roll the hot hand" posts come up.

So the day before my birthday, Price is in and the Habs win and the day after, Auld is in? Ah well, it's about time, Price started the first 9 and he'll likely play on Saturday too, so it's good to give him a bit of a rest.

Can't wait for Saturday's game against Florida. Hope Moen knocks around someone else on their team.

Auld is not a bad goalie. Hopefully he plays well. The Habs gotta play betteer defensively and stay out of the box or it'll be a long night.

I would've rather seen Auld on Saturday against his former team, but we'll win both anyhow.

As good a time as any. Nice to see Price getting the home start as well, shows confidence and helps grow support inside the Bell Centre.

I love people that are *****ing at this call... make the math ... auld goaling 1 out of 10 .. so price will goal over 70 .. at this rhythm you should all be happy..

I don't want Carey playing 70. If the Habs do make the playoffs, it could really take a toll on him.

If Auld can play 15-18 games I don't mind.

I know that, but everyone seems to be *****ing the fact that auld is starting tomorrow... citing Brodeur 70 games a year .. I was just stating that at this rate he will start more than 70 game.. That's all

One thing Price has over a lot of goalies: he's an exceptional natural athlete. Doesn't mean it's necessary a good idea to make him start 70 games, but I wouldn't worry too much about this, especially since you guys can be sure he's certainly followed super closely but Alaire and the rest of the coaches.

I think I'd prefer a Western team. The Isles will probably be one of five or so teams we're slugging it out with for one of the last two spots in the spring.

But yeah, Fla. would work for me.

IMO Auld should start against the Islanders because he would present a different look to the isles. They're used to Price, who played against them just 2 nights earlier. On the other hand. Auld, by sitting pn the bench on Wednesday, was able to observe the Isles offense.
