Is revenge on the menu for the Panthers?

Please recall the preseason, when the Panthers' No. 3 overall pick Erik Gudbranson(notes) was punched in the face by Montreal's Travis Moen(notes) while being restrained:

Panthers enforcer Darcy Hordichuk(notes) will be in the lineup against Montreal, telling the Sun Sentinel:

Well that should be interesting.
Maybe he'll injure Spacek

Just kidding, I have a feeling in good time Spacek will get better.

Looking at how we played without Markov, this has a potential to launch us into the upper echelon of the league if his effect is the same as it has been the last few seasons.

2 out of the 3 panthers wins have come from Vokoun shutouts.. That kind of scares me, this game could easily be something like 2-0 Panthers.
Here's hoping for a good game and a habs win. No injuries please and thank you.

Exactly what I hope for. Better PP, better overall D and hopefully the return of the Gomez line in full force (w Pouliot). The way the team is playing now without those has got me dreaming about the very near future.

Jesus Christ, so much hatred towards Spacek, may the lord save your unforgiveness ridden souls.

If Subban scores his first tonight, I WILL FINALLY CHANGE MY NICKNAME.

Good, hopefully they act dumb and give our powerplay some practice time with Markov.

Weiss is out for tonight. Ankle problem; while playing soccer this morning...

This game scares the shart out of me. We will play down to our opponent. It'll look too easy to the players.

What's up with Boyd ?

Are we gonna see him back in the line up in a near future or will he be packaged in a trade ?

The teams just been rolling since he has been out unfortunately. I am one that would like to seem him given a chance to play with Gomez and Gionta.

If the Habs play a restrained form of hockey, they should be okay. Allow the Panthers to take stupid penalties and make them pay by scoring a couple of PP goals. Markov is back tonight so the PP should improve.

I think the playoff run last season was the best thing that could have happened to the team. It has given the players greater confidence. As well, they beleive that can succeed if they follow the system. By adding markov, we should indeed be that much better and potentially elite material. However, I would be more comfortable if we could find another top-six player to play with G and G. If they get going, we would be a force.

Mods, I really hope this is okay - I posted this in the ticket thread as well, but hoping for a bit more traffic.

So, have one extra ticket tonight 325 A. Part of my season tickets, but a friend couldn't make it and I can't get a replacement such short notice.

Would much rather it be an HFer then someone downtown!

Can't wait to hear Pierre say Vo-Kône and justify himself with "Yes, that's how we pronounce it" when he'll say it for the first time during the game.

Plekanec really seems like the type of player a team like Detroit would develop: smart, offensively gifted and defensively responsible forward.

Indeed, a lot of posters talk about Plekanec as "our Datsyuk". Not saying he's at all as good, of course, but he is in the same mold. Slick hands, nice moves, and really good at both ends.
