My ideal bottom-6 (not changing any players from the top-2 lines) would be;

Pouliot - Halpern - Darche (Darche + Halpern play well together and Pouliot adds a little offense to the line. With Darche being the type of guy to stand in front of the net, maybe Pouliot scores a few more goals with a screened goalie).
Pyatt - Eller - Lapierre (fast line with some offensive ability - very, very strong forechecking line).
personally I would like to switch up Pouliot with Pyatt on the botom six. Pouliot-Eller-Lapierre is hat I woul like to see on the 3rd, then again might be a defensive liability

Here's my anti-jynx for tonight though: Higgins will score 2 times tonight, altough probably not in a net.

I know I'm not "suppose" to be here but I'd figure I'd share my two cents.

I was a "detractor" of Subban. Only cause I mean how many defensemen come in their first year and make an impact. I mean people were saying 60 points, I'd thought 40 points would be spectacular for a rookie. Heck, 30 points would still be good. I know he had a good playoffs but an 82 game season is different than a playoff.

Anyways, back to my point, TSN said Markov is playing with Subban? Damn, as a hockey fan, that looks like one scary group in terms of transitioning the puck. It'll be interesting to see how they mesh.

So yeah, that's it. Good Luck. *switches to Leaf fan mode* You're going to need it.

Rational Leafs fan, does that mean you won't try and pimp Kaberle out for Pavelski every five seconds?

Did my 10 game assessment of the team, for those of you not interested in a long read just a heads up it is long, I spoke about many of our players. Still undecided on some and will assess them at the 20 game mark. With Markov back do you guys think we'll see a PK we've never seen before? He's been incredible up until now without Markov... being paired with him.... I've never been so excited for a game in a long time... 7 will never come soon enough.

If we win tonight our L10 becomes 8-1-1 lol... sexy
Spot on assessment of pretty much every aspect of the habs, from management moves to player's performance on the ice. Just out of curiosity, you gave AK an A, which I take it means you think he could do even more? For him to have an A+, hed' have to produce at more than a ppg on top of being aware defensively; that's sort of Datsyuk-esque to say the least..

Anyways, good read

I am so excited about Marky being back I am now extremely nervous, ridiculously nervous actually. Hoping the Habs come out strong with the General back.

Let's make it 5 in a row!

Oh yeah, Markov only needs 1 pt. to pass J.C. Tremblay for defense scoring. They're tied at 363. He's 8 pts back of Patrice Brisbois (371).

He also could pass Serge Savard this year. He needs 49 pts to tie him. A definite possibility as long as he stays healty.

Markov and Subban will be playing together? Was kind of hoping they'd seperate them so we could have two defense pairings that can be good at bringing the puck up the ice. Although I think they could do some damage together as well

He is no beacon of good looks or a fountain of youth, this much is true.

But man he can play hockey.

NHL.com says CBC is broadcasting but I can't find it anywhere on my TV.
