RT @NHLFlyers: http://twitpic.com/32c4fo - Laviolette confirms that Sergei Bobrovsky will start in net tonight vs. Islanders.

I guess Boucher blowing a potential record setting wins in a row against a team is still fresh in their minds

Make it 3 in a row guys! Also, did anyone also notice how good the Habs have been? Or have they had a really easy schedule so far?

I remember when the Los Angeles Kings went 32 straight without beating the Flyers (included five ties) and in the closing moments King Kong Korab jumped Darryl Sittler then fought him. As he left the ice, Korab flipped the bird to the crowd.

I wish I lived in Philly or Canada and was old enough (not really, but still) to remember stuff like that.

They've been good. It's still early in the season though.

A lot of their success comes from Price though. He's having a terrific year so far.

I'm almost positive that game was on the USA Network (cable network). I seem to remember it being a Sunday night game.

I dont think I would have done that if I was Lavy. Would have played Boosh then used Bob on Monday. I guess they wanna see if Bob can take the starting spot.

Laviolette likes Nodl, that is obvious based on his quotes. Carcillo scored last night. Unlikely it would be one of them if Zherdev returned.

scrathing him 2 in a row? Weird. Maybe something else is up. He Homer, maybe you should Pat Maroon him.

I LOVE that Bob is getting a back to back. Go Bob go.

Nodl deserves Zherdev's spot, he's hustling like crazy. I've been really impressed with his play.

I also wonder if they are showcasing Carcillo because someone mentioned the other day that they were shopping him.
