no risk taking by klasen, just dumping it in. Seems a bit nervous, but good to play it simple first game.

I have more confidence in this game than some of our others. I can see us coming back better than I can see us holding on to a lead.

klasen with only 2 minutes in first period, it is not like he was in on any goals or did any mistakes. Might as well play him in admirals if he only receives that kind of icetime.

He played 2:59 and Hornqvist only has played 3 minutes and change so it's not like he's that far behind in minutes played.

If we thought Tootoo might sit tonight we called up Klasen yet Bouillon might be scratched and we don't call up another defender against Detroit? That is poor roster management. Why have all these prospects if we're not going to use them. Dumb dumb dumb.

I just tuned in, missed the whole period. Watching via the internet feed from here on.

Does Wilson ever get a shot off? His most common boxscore line is zeros almost all the way across. No hits, takeaways, or missed shots even. He's usually even or plus though, more often than many of our guys.

I see our line when they scored goal number two was Spaling, Sully, and Erat. Interesting. One guy for defense, one guy for offense, and one guy to skate fast up and down the ice without really doing either one.

I agree. Laakso should have been on the plane with Klasen if there was any doubt Bouillon wouldn't play and he didn't practice yesterday...

Klasen has ZERO familiarity except for Spaling. He looks a bit tenative as he adjusts, but has made some good plays. He'll earn more ice time.

I suggest re-checking your stats. Other than last game, Wilson has had shots, take aways and hits. Not sure where your info is coming from.
AS far as lines go, they change every shift! you really have to pay attention.
Rinne, as usual having a strong game

Spaling was wide open in front but Sully didn't see him in time. I liked the way they worked the puck though. Spaling, Ward, Sullivan.

From the box scores which I check and compare after each game. But it was a bit tongue in cheek. He doesn't shoot as much as I thought he might. I also expected hits to show up more often for him. But on your advice I rechecked, and he's not all zeros right now, he does have a giveaway.

Yeah, I am aware the lines change.

EdiT: Ok, an exciting chance there for "Willy"... He's off the shooting schnide for this game.

How does Trotz expect to see what players can do if he only gives them 5 mins a game?

gotta be an injury. Not even trotz would play a new guy 4 shifts and then sit him for the rest of the game.
