I would try these trios for a period, just to see how it does...
Cammalleri - Plekanec - Gionta
Pouliot - Gomez - Kostitsyn
Moen - Eller - Lapierre
Darche - Halpern - Pyatt
Markov - Hamrlik
Subban - Gorges
Spacek - Gill
Price
Auld
I think we should separate the G-lovers and Subban and Markov.
Cammy - Pleks - AK46
Pouliot - Gomez - Gionta
Boyd - Eller - Lapierre
Moen - Halpern - White
I don't know if I'm the only one but I don't really see what Pyatt is bringing to the team, he's good on the PK but doesn't do anything else for us... doesn't hit anything and doesn't bring any offensive whatsoever and we already have plenty of guys who can play on the PK. On a team that is already on the small/softer side I'd much rather have White who would provide a different dimension to our bottom six.
I don't think you change anything, relax all it's just a result of a week with 4 games and 2 in 2 nights. It's all good, we had 40 shots....Now we know how all those teams felt last year after getting 40+ shots against us.
Pyatt should be sat for a bit, I know he is great on the PK but I think Boyd could bring a lot more 5 on 5 with Eller and Lappy who also have speed, forecheck and some offense in them. Halpern and Darche are playing great and I think Moen would add a lot to that line. Pouliot has been playing way better recently, and quite frankly better than Gomez and Gio all year so maybe he can help THEM out and get them going. Moen sure as hell isn't going to, and I love Moen, but not on the second line.

TA. I would love to see a grind line with Moen - Halpern - White. I like Pyatt too but White can also kill penalties and he's a pretty great shot blocker. Pyatt really isn't doing much out there. White is as a good forechecker, he's always first on the puck. He'll drop the gloves.
If we call up White tho, we'll need to waive somebody. I can't see PG wanting to do that.
The intention here is to allow Eller to slot into the position he was meant to play. He is not a dynamic goal scorer and the likelihood of him developing into one is minimal. The aforementioned lines would provide him an opportunity to play on the top six and in addition fit arguably our most impact driven goal scorer (Cammalleri) with the struggling G-Unit in hopes of awaking the beast so to speak. If their lackluster offense maintains, we could potentially swap Plekanec/Kostitsyn for Cammalleri on that line.
Suffice it to say, I would fancy Plek to covert to a winger and a powerplay point guard, especially the latter. Other teams have utilizes this style of play and witnessed abundance of success. It never hurts us any to attempt to throw the same dice.

I puked in my mouth and had to stop reading there. Absolutely awful idea.
I want Pouliot with Eller on the 3rd line... Let them "grow together" for **** sakes... They'll build confidence off each other, they couldn't do more harm together than they would get as a Gomez winger.
Lapierre or Boyd to get a shot on the 2nd line with GG... I have no clue why Pyatt was even considered for this role. Moen makes more sense than Pyatt, but ultimately I think Laps or Boyd are the most capable of the bottom 6 to get production now. Plus they're stronger on their feet than Pyatt, faster than Moen, and either one has a better goal scoring touch than Pyatt or Moen.
Looks pretty good, I could see some nice chemistry. Eller looking for Gionta, Gomez looking for Pouliot... and both lines have a grinder who can also chip in offensively/clean up the garbage (Boyd and Lapierre)
For all that Gill is a slow skater and brings no offensive capabilities, you very rarely see an opposing breakaway or dangerous odd man rush when he and Gorges on the ice.

I hated Gill until about March of last year. Since then he's been beastly. He was incredible in the playoffs and he's been very good so far this year. Can't complain.

I do want Picard in the lineup though.
I wouldn't hate to see Spacek sit a few games and putting Picard in. At least until Markov shakes the rust off, and then re-evaluate at that point.
Personally I like having Gill in the lineup, if for no other reason than the hilarity of seeing him stand beside Gionta.
Here comes the panic. This team played the same way they've played all year...the only difference is they didn't get the bounces and ran into a hot goalie. Relax.

Last night I saw Gill pass the puck dangerously up the middle to a Panther, he looked like a pylon on another play and he almost ran over Price trying clumsily to get to the puck. And I think there was an odd man rush thrown in there. You shouldn't see many odd man rushes against those two because they don't take risks. Picard can make the same mistakes but hit someone and offer a decent shot and puck moving capabilities. He's younger and has a chance to improve - Gill not so much.
Against the Islanders both Gorge and Gill ended up on the seat of their pants different times. The Habs killed off a 5 - 3 against the Islanders without Gill and Subban who were both stranded in the penalty box.
It was interesting that last night on one penalty kill the Gill / Gorges duo were not out for a shift. I think the "need" for Gill is overrated because of some good playoff games and his corny jokes. LOL
