As I will say I respect Crosbys skill, but as a human being and somewhat of his playing style and skill I can't stand him! BUT, if Crosby drops gloves with Carbomb I will have MUCH more respect for him.

I can't see Crosby actually throwing down with a fighter, He's fought Ference, MacLean, Zidlicky, and Ballard...Ballard was for revenge of Malkin after a beautiful hip-check, Zidlicky was after one of Crosby's slash wars, and MacLean he jumped in the faceoff circle because FLA was killing them.
But like GKJ mentioned, he has nothing to gain from it. Maybe if his team was getting bludgeoned in the playoffs and he felt that fighting a scrappy guy would wake them up, then yes...but they have others who can do that.

Yeah, I really wish they'd stop with the chant. It's embarrassing since he scores every damn game.

crosby is a *****. did you watch the game 7 with montreal? he ****ing jumped a defenseman (markov?) off the faceoff, for no reason, without warning. crosby got two minutes, and montreal scored 14 seconds into the game. it was clear he was just frustrated because he's a spoiled little brat and he wasn't winning at his game of late.

He's won a Cup, Gold Medal, Hart, Art Ross and tied for the Richard. I think he's got the respect thing covered.
