This post sticks out to me the most because I'm hungry since my dinner blew and that pizza is indeed pants-wetting. I would sign up to see the devils get their pants kicked for a deep dish pizza.

LA is ridiculous, I used to like them a lot out west. Go sharks now

I wonder what Maclean and the coaching staff does to prepare for games like this where the offense is lethal and our D is comparable to a kitten

How dare you slander kittens. There is nothing cute about our defense.

Oh, and I read this on another board from a Devils fan in attendance, the LA bitterness vis-a-vis Kovy continues:
This has little to do with bitterness since they do it with most teams our personal favorites is pissing 9 dollar beers on the gingers.....and it only gets funnier when the ducks come in, trying coming out to watch more than just the devils and you'll see.

I would take the lowbrow route and attack the Kings history or whatnot, but the truth is that they have a great looking team, compared to our team right now which can only show up if they are loaded up on an Xbox360.

you hear that sound bud thats your future getting older and older and you're team playing like it now, until last night some kings fans still were hurting over kovy but watching him cherry picking while the kings swarmed around marty was eye opening, he fore checked for about 2-3 shifts and then he floated around waitning for his linemates to get him the puck. Its to early to jump ship like some of your loyal fan base has, wanting to trade your one bright piece for whatever is very chickenlittle of you guys......Enjoy watching kovy be a Devil for life, atlanta fans did, you guys deserve each other

Nice modesty my friend. And way to speak of loyal, up until last season most of LA did not know something went on at the Staples Center that didn't have something to do with Kobe.

The Kings are a fantastic team, time for you guys to get over the fact that someone didn't sign Dean's lowball contract and enjoy your winning team with a bright future.

But if you like to kick people while their down, go nuts, I have a good memory.

Cheers, may your first cup come very soon.

If my team was the best in my conference the last thing I would do would be trolling other forums.

Most of LA still could care less about the Kings ,hell most can't speak english lol , we thought it was DL's lowball offer too and it pissed us off to no end but the more we found out afterwards it turns out we were played and like with any love and believe for kings fans after al these years of sux it is love, that hurt and as you so politely point out ythat first cup has not come yet and getting that piece we thought would make that dream come sooner, but i really believe after last night and seeing him in person it hurts a little less, remember we only see him on tv most of the time and as you know it doesn't tell the whole story. Some were concerned he wouldn't fit into the team system we play and its possible thats what is hurting you guys now, until the end of last year you guys were the epitome of team play....... I definately donot mean to kick while your are down but I lose my irish temper when insulted about the fan base here who have suffered endless years of frustration, heres to hoping you guys pull out of this and we get the story book ending we all deserve when we win game sevin because of a kovy t/o........peace

You know I cannot really be that mad at Kings fans shoving it on our faces, because I think if the tables were turned we would be doing the same thing.

Color me jealous.

You know what sucks? If we didn't trade our second to acquire Arnott, we could have used it and Parise to acquire Malkin. Dead serious, a ton of my Pittsburgh fans friends are saying they'd do that trade any day.

Now that's a face palm on our part if I ever heard one. Can you imagine Kovy and Malkin together? Stick Zubey on the right wing and it'd be impregnable.

I am not too quick to give up on Mr. Parise. The kid represents all that is good and right about being a New Jersey Devil.

It has been 10 games, the worst ten games this team has seen since the 80s, I say we sit back and let things run their course.

I say in a years time we are watching Parise and Kovalchuk on this team, both with secure contracts, playing well and leading us to the regular winning results we are used to.

This slump is too god damn bad and just plain bizarre to be a extended trend.

Can't believe some people want to trade #9.
