Interesting note: This is actually the busiest night of the NHL season. 14 games on the schedule.

Tampa beat Phoenix. Washington beat Calgary.

SJ is starting to wake up offensively. They are up 5-0 on the _ucks.

Looks like that message didn't go through with the Calgary Flames.

Do you guys remember when mentioning "Myers" and "sophomore slump" in the same sentence would get you eviscerated by Sabres fans?

I think they're getting the idea now.

Rangers beat Chicago.

I'm sure the Kings will get zero help from NJ tonight. Vancouver already up 1-0 in the first.

I live in NYC and watched the Rangers feed. It was hilarious they were gushing over Brian Boyle and commented that he was out there with 1 minute left in the game taking a d-zone face off against Toews. Froloaf you may wonder? Glued to the bench.

I've seen a few Rangers games this year. Avery and Boyle have been good, Froloaf, not so much...

No no. Go Devils. But, it looks like that isn't working out too well right now.

When it's all said and done, he'll have more than 27 points and be a + player. Unless he's out A LOT longer than we expect.

I really hope so... I just have this nagging feeling that this is going to be a terrible year for him. Its not based on anything just this weird feeling. Ill also rephrase my original comments and say his stats will regress. From what he did last season.

I admit I couldn't resist and got an HF infraction for trolling on their GDT, but in all fairness one of the posters called out LA fans so I just mentioned a few recent events which seemed to be prominent in the news and how they might get butt-hurt if 'choke gets boo'd in VAN so I did go too far I guess.

The Dev's fans are really touchy, probably haven't experienced enough losing seasons to grow a thick enough skin like us.

I wonder what they will do with "lowly" Devils if it comes to that.

Oh noes, NJD 0-3 at VAN w/ 5.5 left in 3rd.

This post from the NJ board just about sums it up.

That's an issue they won't be able address this coming off-season either. As they will only have about $5M in cap space and 8 roster spots to fill after re-signing Parise.

Zach Parise will be out three months. Say goodbye to the playoffs, New Jersey.

Don't tell the NJ fans that. They still think that Volchenkov's injury is the reason that they can't score. One of them even thinks that Tallinder was signed to be the #7 defenseman.

They keep arguing that the reason for their poor record is because they haven't been able to ice an entire healthy team. Never mind that it would be impossible to do because of the cap.
