Absolutely love the game. Hate the number of penalties called when trying to lift a stick (hook/slash) or poke the puck away (tripping). It's insane.

I rarely stick lift anymore, but I almost always have my stick moving for poke checks/blocking passing lanes when I am defending and don't take too many penalties for it in HUT. However, in OTP I take a ton of tripping penalties because my guy doesn't have any boosts (I primarily play goalie) and is slow as a sack of ****, so I am often out of position or trying to catch up with the play.

It is all about being in correct position.
