Looks about right.

19 teams at 90%+ attendance. (11 of those teams at 100%+ attendance).
11 teams under 90% attendance.
Ah, stupid me! I read Jester's original post as 11 teams at 100%+ and the remaining 19 teams at 90%+. And to think I draw a paycheque for reading comprehension! Thanks for simplifying it for me, Chris.

I saw that (Leonsis' comments - couldn't remember his name earlier today). Of course, the WHA2 is healthier than the NBA.

The NHL is doing just fine, and about to do better given that the next TV deal should be a bit more favorable.
I hope so. I want a channel that is dedicated to hockey more than just two nights a week (but I don't think any one of us should have to be subjected to "Boo yeah!" just to get it).

Your reading comprehension is fine (and hence, job safe), that is how Jester meant it, or else it was a typo on his part. Chris was correcting him.

Ah, I doubt you're going to see much more than that just cuz of saturation...

Flyers have all 82 games + playoffs on TV. You tack on the weekly game (which they're occasionally the game for), maybe another one here or there on VS (whatever their broadcast schedule is now), and the fact that Comcast is now showing it's sister stations' games with regularity (you can watch Caps, Hawks, and SJ fairly frequently on Comcast)... and you're looking at a LOT of NHL games on TV.

Personally, I love the NHL... but I have a g/f and graduate school is killing my soul. I don't have time for much more than the Flyers...

Ah, no.. it's not a typo.

The 11 teams drawing 100+% are also drawing 90+%.

You expand the numbers and the sets become more inclusive.

I cannot express how much disdain I have for that word thanks to ESPN and Bettman last decade when the NBA signed a deal which caused less NHL games to be shown on ESPN & ESPN2. Bettman put the "saturation" spin on it. As if there were such a thing as too much hockey.

YMMV.

Ah, no offense, but unless I were to become a social recluse... there is such a thing as too much hockey.

What is with starting each post with "Ah," today?

Are you drinking a refreshing Coca Cola while you post?

Don't try too hard.

He is an engima, wrapped in a paradox, boxed in a "smarter than thou" attitude. While the aforementioned attitude is 90% of the time an earned one, he has difficulty accepting intellectually relevant peers and still talks down to them like they are NWO.

There's just something odd about SpongeBob complaining about the word "saturation".

Lot to say in 6+ years.

I racked up a lot of the damage when I was living abroad and watching the games over the internet... thus posting a ton in GDTs.

I think you wiped out my measly post count with just Carter vs. Giroux!

I've actually gotten the point where unless the Flyers are playing, I usually don't watch much hockey, there's too much else to do.

I still post on here way too much though!

Yeah I really miss that part of college.

I feel like my man-crush on Charlie Coyle would be absolutely immense.

It's hard to bend down and cover the puck when you're retaining water.
