I know Staples gets knocked for its bad ice, but TSN just showed bare concrete exposed along the boards at Verizon arena. Oy.

The players may think so, but the officials(the only party with no stake in the game) have said it was good, if not great in ALL of the ice reports submitted to my dad and his crew this season.

He's the chief engineer of the building. In charge of basically everything mechanical. So post-game both teams, and the officials fill-out ice reports for him and his crew.

The Caps Defense is terrible, They are never going to win in the playoffs. They leave there Goalie out to dry way too much.
Also Mike Green is very gifted with shooting, he is a hot mess on the D side.

I think most would agree with him. Kovalchuk is a 1 trick pony(albeit he's really good at it), but Parise is a 30-40 goal guy and one of the best two-way forwards in the game.
