I am from Quebec, and I went to toronto this weekend. I found a place called Kilgour's bar meet grill , on bloor street , downtown TO. Good food, Great Habs Fans wearing jerseys-caps and very loudy. THat was a great night. Every Single game are on TV [RDS]. If you are goin' to toronto during the playoff, that's the place.
The Canadiens v. Lightning game on Feb 12th is being carried by TSN HD so most sports bars will have it on.
To watch the games on the 13th and 16th (and 17th if you're still in town) you'll need to go to Kilgour's.

To get there by Subway you can either go to Spadina Station and walk a few blocks West on Bloor Street or get off at Bathurst Station and walk a few blocks east on Bloor (it's almost equidistant). Kilgours will always have the game on, but the place is a little on the small side and the TVs are tiny.
The other option is the Madison (follow link for details). It's a University of Toronto bar that tends to get very crowded, particularly on weekends, but I've heard that they will put on Hab games if you ask nicely.
I guess my advice would be to call the Madison and see if they will televise the game, if not, head to Kilgours
Spirits Bar & Grill at 642 Church St is a good place to know about.
It is one block south and one block east of the corner of Yonge and Bloor. Many screens. They have the full NHL package so you can watch whatever game you want--or more than one on adjacent screens.
Food is pretty good--good chøice of beer on tap. Comedy night is worth checking out too.

Kilgour's for sure. One of the owners is a Habs fan.
Another option is to go to the Great One's restaurant, it is called Gretzky's at 99 Blue Jay Way on the west end of town, north of the Rogers Centre. On a Sunday night, parking wouldn't be a problem from my observation.
As a Habs fan, I went to both and watched Habs games at both locations; in March 2006.
At Kilgour's, you are guaranteed to watch a Habs game, although the TVs sound isn't that great and at the time, no HD. However, you can call them and ask if they have updated their TVs.
At Gretzky's, multiple flat panels and you can ask to watch a Habs game and they most likely will accommodate you.
Both places are very fan friendly.

I recommend the Loose Moose. They have recently expanded to take over the Armadillo upstairs but I would go to the basement for the games. They have tons of big screens and if you ask them to put the Hab game on they will certainly accomodate. If there is a Leaf game they will have the volume up on that one and if no Leaf game they will probably continue to play music so either way you aren't likely to hear the game. It is a good atmosphere though and the food is quite good. I highly recommend the fish n' chips.

Yeah, poor old Stanley, world traveler that he is, is in a vault. Kicked into the Rideau Canal, thrown into Mario Lemieux's swimming pool and borrowed by Guy Lafleur for a visit to Thurso; amongst other locations.
One of his progeny [Presentation or Display Cup] is in the Main Hall and you can get your pic taken with him. Bring your own camera and it is no charge. No camera, no problem, an attendant will take one for you and charge you for it, I think? I don't know the cost.
Make sure you sit down in the replica of the Habs dressing room. If so inclined, wear your Habs gear. So, take a camera for pics in the room.
There is a store next door, visit that as well and take your credit card to max out. Not everything in the store is shown on the web site.www.hhof.com
For US citizens: The significance of the last sentence is that if you purchase some item from the store, you will have to pay the Ontario tax and lug it around wherever you go and declare it at the border. If you know their part number, when you get home, you can order it all and only pay the shipping charges and the extra fee that the credit card company charges for the currency conversion, usually 3% of the total.

- Unfortunately this is the only true Habs bar in the city. It's not very big, and the TV setup isn't all that great. From some seats it's awkward to see a TV. That being said, people show up in jersey's and cheer when goals happen. Expect to show up at least 30 to 45 minutes ahead of puck drop to get a seat on weekends and playoff games.
