Pittsburgh game is very entertaining watching the flightless rink pigeons get rag dolled around having temper tantrums, even Crosby had a fight hahahaha

I really, really would have preferred giving Matsumoto a chance before completely giving up on him and trading him for ****, but he was never going to get a shot with us due to our center depth.

hes pretty 1 dimensional. Like Ryan Potulny, if he is on your NHL team, you must have big problems on forward

Devils lost Broduer to an injury that he won't be returning from tonight's game at the very least. I hope the bridges in NJ all have some people with life preservers waiting at the bottom hahaha

lovin' this Stars beatdown of the Penguins tonight. Anyone see Crosby's fight? Guess he is getting in some practice so he can take on Carbomb...

this guy and Coatsey should team up to do commentary for the next buffalo-philly game. it might be revolutionary.

Harry Neale coached my dad at Ohio State (he also had a couple coaching gigs in the NHL)... he was a great colour guy, back in the day.

The Hawks lost 5-3 to the Devils tonight. Patrick Sharp was an unbelievable -5.

where would he play for us?. hes softer then tissue paper and sucks defensively. good for him getting 2 goals on that awful defense and Rick DiPietro. Honestly did you see what that offensive dynamo Andreas Nodl did to him?
God I knew someone would over react if he had 1 good night.

DiPietro had the worst game of his life but Matsumoto's second goal was a beautiful slapper.

So I sit myself in front of my PC, open NHL.com to check the scores of last night, and see that NJ scored 5 goals. "Impossible!" is the first thing I think. The next thought is "Well, it's against Chicago." Then I open the Boxscore and see that two of them are empty netters in the last minute. That explained a lot.

As for Matsumoto, good for him, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. There was simply no spot for him on the Flyers. We've already got 5 NHL caliber centers, to the point where we have problems spreading them over lines and have them succeed. He would have walked in his next free agent period anyway, and this could also easily be the same as what Laliberte did last year. Come up, score a bunch of goals, then produce nothing for the next week and get sent back down, though I'm not sure the Canes can send him back to Charlotte without waivers so he might stick.

My only reaction is that I wish we could have gotten something more than literally the least valued commodity available in trade.

Really torn on what do do with my goalies tonight.
I have Lundy and Bobo playing vs each other.

I already have 4 starts, 4 wins, 1.95 GAA, but my opponent has 1 win 1 SHO 0 GAA. Should I bench my goalies and wait and see how his second start goes before playing any more starts?

Sbisa is over a ppg in the A right now (2+6 in 5 games). We might have set him back, but I don't think it'll hold him there forever.

Edit: It should also be noted that he didn't do so hot his first game or two, so he's really turned it on.

They must've moved him back to RW.
