Yeah, we definitely could use Gaboriks snipe tonight. Someone :cough: Frolov :cough: has to step it up tonight and pop a couple in.

The Rangers need one of those Avery games though where hes flying all over the place and getting mixed up with some of Flyers resulting in some drawn penalties.

I have a feeling Stepan is going to make a contribution tonight.

Regardless of whos in net tonight, they shouldnt go in there any different than the past few road games. The Flyers are a much better team than the Leafs for sure, but the Rangers have to stick to whats worked for them and dont break that for anyone. Stick with the identity through wins and losses. Thats important. Stick to your game.

I'd like to see Del Zotto have a big game one night. He needs it.

Special teams is going to win or lose this game IMO.

Pack line needs to be on their game tonight. Pronger- Timmonen is dangerous and very physical. They handled Seabrook- Keith last game, so I think they can do it.

I Think Biron can hold his own against the Devils.
Sure why not. Play him every game. He gives us a better chance to win every game....

NY 5 PHI 1

Was a sunny day in a Philly stadium
All the cheesesteaks in Philly cant console them
As Richards hit the ice
His experience wasn’t nice
It was their biggest loss since 2010

Rangers 5 Philly 1
Dubi & Cally are number 1

Bobrovsky and Carter thought they’d seen it all
Staal Gabby Henke and Boogy’s balls
Skating rings round you there was nothing
You could do NY's glory
We changed the story
Now where pulling

Rangers 5 Philly 1
Dubi & Cally are number 1

We got a Rusky called Artem Anisimov
Jaromir Jagr is now Marian Gaborik
So Philly rip where the golden age to be our time has come
There on the run its time for victory

Its not that good. But the lyrics to the original don't make sense (to me)

Harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block.
Bad. It's like a carousel. You put the quarter in, you get on the horse,
it goes up and down, and around. Circular, circle. Feel it. Go with the
flow.

Dont be surprised if prust winds up handling boogey's workload tonight, wouldn't be the first time thats for sure.

personally i hope he does go with shelley and shelley drops him, enough with this boogey jackass.

Thats because no one wants to fight boogey. I wouldnt want to fight him. But if that dirtbag carcillo tries to pull any of that nonsense i'd be perfectly fine with boogey taking a ten minute misconduct or instigator by going right after that punk and kicking his ass. Its early in the season and the tone should be set now for the rest of the season that carcillo and his pansy teammates are not going to get away their cheap shots. I'd be ok with hurting our chances to win tonight to leave a lasting mark on these guys

I know this might not be what everyone wants to see regarding Steps and Grachev, but for tonight, i wouldn't mind them dumping it into the corner of the Philly zone with a streaking Boogard down the opposite side ready to finish his hit no matter what, especially on guys like Pronger, Timonen, and Coburn. Then let Steps and Grachev take it from there i guess. I've had enough of the Phlyers trying to intimidate teams, i want them to be afraid of us.

If Boyle/Boogard/Prust/Avery/Dubinsky brings it tonight, they'll be thinking twice about messing with anyone on our team for the rest of the season.
