NOVEMBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

Well, a goal is a goal. Obviously, it’s tough when you know you have to stop that puck.
It was just bad luck there on that bounce. It was weird. It hit me twice, I think, before it rolled over my shoulder.
It is what it is.
- Henrik Lundqvist

That’s our mentality every game and I think we’ve done a good job with that this year.
Sticking up for one another and backing each other up no matter what. I was trying to get the guys going.
- Brandon Prust

It was just one of those games where you get all this hype about it and to me it was a (ugly) game.
I’m sure they don’t feel that way, they win it 4-1, but to me it was sloppy offensively.
They didn’t have that many chances either.
- John Tortorella

Not a fan of Biron playing against the Devs, even though I like Biron.

Still though, I think its important to pull out a victory tomorrow after tonights loss. We can't get used to the motion of 2-3 wins followed by 2-3 losses.

We're playing on sunday as well. So I doubt Hank gets the start in this one.

Halak vs. Hank should be interesting, Halak is making a case for being one of the elite goaltenders of the league IMO.

Team needs to rebound. We cant afford to fall into a slump with this lineup.

Team's lack of depth with the injuries is now starting to show.

Gotta rebound in this one. Looks like Marty is good to go. 2 points is a must here.

Has there been any indication of Biron playing tonight or is it just your feeling he is?

Think we gotta go with Biron here. Even though Devils will be confident after their win in Chicago, their offense still isn't clicking 100%. I'm worried they'll be motivated in front of their home crowd, but with the Blues coming in on Sunday, we need to go with Biron.

It's Mark Fraser not Colin Fraser (Edmonton). Also, Tyler Eckford and Tim Sestito were sent down to Albany and Patrick Davis and Stephen Gionta were called up.

Volchenkov returns as well.

Anton Volchenkov - DTD: Sore neck (might return vs NYR)
Matt Corrente - DTD: Hand injury
Jacob Josefson - OUT: Hand injury
Colin Fraser - IR: Hand injury
Brian Rolston - IR: Sports hernia
Bryce Salvador - IR: Concussion
Zach Parise - IR: Knee injury
Anssi Salmela - IR: Knee injury

That is a LOT of injuries.

i hope they at some point give stepan a chance to succeed. he has played with boogy and white the last 5 games. no one would have success with bums like these guys. let stepan play for frolov. i am sure he could play wing. frolov has been awful, so has feds. give him a chance torts.

Agreed. We have a busy schedule this month. I personally think they should've player him today or Sunday, but w/e.

He hasn't really shown us a reason to play him more. The lines are fine as they are. Besides, he's gone when Gabby/Prospal/Dru come back.

LOL

The Devils basically suck without those players, and when those players come back they'll have more cap issues right? It's a lose-lose situation me thinks.

It seems you have a rather large ***** for Stepan.

He has been invisible the past few games. I haven't noticed him since...I dunno, against the Bruins.

Marty's given up quite a few wraparound goals in the debbie games I've watched.

Looks like it's Fro time.

The point is that their team can still get wins on any given night even with the injuries...

I'm definitely not overly confident about winning tomorrow night... I'm not hinging on us losing either but I have an open mind about the outcome... You never know what can happen or how a game can turn out... Both teams have injuries to key players....
