Of course you would, players like him don't just grow on trees.

I would be willing to trade many players but Subban is a non stater.
For Setoguchi, Montreal doesn't have the pieces for him unless you want Pouliot.

No way in hell I would ever trade a 1st round pick(Seto), a 2nd round pick(Mcginn) and next years first for a second round pick(subban) strait up;well unless that name starts with a Y and plays for Phoenix...dude luigi you really dont know what you're talking about sometimes dude, why do you always throw Mcginn in like hes worth nothing
my Seto to Mtl proposal
Setoguchi
Huskins
3rd
for
Gorges
Weber
With Mtl's problem with injured vets on the blueline Huskins would also be a good fit this year on top of getting Seto.
Saw Weber play at the Olympics and is probably going to play alot like Boyle, he would be a great mentor, still alot to give up when you consider the Sharks gave away Gorges for nothing

Would also love Weber on the Sharks, I offered MTL fans earlier a package of him and a pick for Setoguchi.

My honest take on McGinn is sell him now while he is young, and still has value. The kid won't amount to much in the NHL, mark my words.

I don't think the Habs would have any problem trading Weber "and something" for Setoguchi. That's more like a variant of the OP's idea, and would still be considered a "bargain hunters" pricetag for Setoguchi IMHO.

Gorges is not available, and the Habs don't (at present, knock wood) have any troubles with injuries on D, they have 8 NHL guys there already, Huskins would not be of interest.

Weber + a pick (not a 1st) / some other prospect(non-1st) / some depthy depth player ... not a problem at all. If that's all you want.
