I just watched another Tortorella post game interview and it inspired me. I absolutely hate that little ******. Why does he think he's such a tough guy? I wish some reporter would just punch him right in his nose. Such a smug little *****.
So my vote is for Tortorella
honorable mention Bruce the fat little turd Boudreau (whaaaaah) and Lindy Ruff. I hate coaches that constantly ***** about the refs or the opposition.
Sorry if my choices don't include somebody you particularly hate. I'm sure many of us would like to choose Pat Quinn but he's not coaching now..

Ron Wilson for setting Carle's development back and blackballing him after an amazing rookie campaign for no apparent reason in SJ. Also, his press conferences in Toronto are full of whine, like the one he blew up at the reporter in who asked if they were tanking or something along those lines.
Also, I know its a different sport, but I never liked Joe Torre.
It isn't exactly hard to win championships with the teams the Yankees have had, but he walks around with a great sense of entitlement. I wonder if LA thinks he deserves that anymore.
I actually have a soft spot for Ron Wilson since he got canned by the Sharks. It was just one of those situations were the coach had to be the scapegoat because you can't fire half the team for being massive chokers come playoff time.
I don't know if I really hate any, since they change so damn much.
That said, Lindy Ruff is probably the one I dislike the most, the longest tenured coach in the conference, mainly because of hype I guess. No one has been credited with so much yet never accomplish anything. He's great at developing some real slime balls though.
Torts would be my pick if his team was actually successful. His histrionics as much as they are irritating don't translate to many wins so no sense taking him that seriously. Ruff I used to hate and still hate but again now that his antics are negligible on a junky team I'm not as bothered by him. I will admit that the both of them have mugs that are very irritating to look at and that you want to punch...
My pick is Boudreau...he's a cocky SOB who ate a nice dose of humble pie last year but still hasn't lost that chip on his shoulder b/c of all that talent still on that team. Plus he reminds me of Scotty Bowman a bit who was like the Phil Jackson of the NHL....
Another guy I guess could be on the poll is Terry Murray. Not sure how many people actually hate him though. Wilson isn't that bad but he does coach the Leafs after all.
Too bad Carbonneau doesn't coach anymore - I'm sure he would have gotten some votes.
I think you guys might be surprised that I actually dont have a problem with Ruff. i did back in the early 2000's when we always met up, but not anymore.
This is a clear cut vote for Tortorella. Guy is a ******.
Tortorella is an arrogant *******, but he can be an okay coach and his interviews can be hilarious.
Not a fan of Boudreau just because he whines so much. Seems kind of odd that a fat guy should coach professional athletes though.
Ruff is probably the most overrated coach out there. Has never accomplished anything, constantly mired in mediocrity, won't get fired since he's a friend of the GM, and his fan-base hates him.
I would hate Tortorella if I played under him. This guy is all about *****ing you out for every little thing, unless of course you're his star player. There has to be a mix of *****ing and helpful criticism, he just *****es.
Torts will yap for 10 minutes straight on the bench just annoying the **** out of all his players. Personally, I would be someone who gets to that point, where I will do the opposite of what the coach says just to piss him off more.
