Ugly win... But a win is a win, I guess.

Other than our third line and our goalies, I thought Spacek, Markov and Hamrlik were much better tonight.

I also liked Pyatt and Moen play tonight.

Since I'm 100% positive Gomez and Gionta read these boards (probably already checking this thread from the dressing room):

YOU GUYS NEED TO PUSH TO THE NET. Nobody in the NHL has scored 25-30 goals in a season as a perimiter player. Gionta, you haven't had a shot in the slot in ages. What happened to you?

confidence for our friend Benwat Poolio makes a world of difference wat a line him darche and halpern make. Darche has surely won his spot on the team for me so far this year. Not having Pleky on the top line definitely showed this game but we still found a way to win.

When our pp starts getting some goals we're going to be even harder to beat!!! go habs go

Happy we won, but still very concerned in the "Wee 3"...namely Gionta, Gomez and Cammalleri. Yes I'm including Cammalleri in there, he's also hit a roadblock. AK46 wasn't so hot either tonight.

A lot of positives though, like the newly dubbed PhD line () and PK, as well as Price.

+1. I was always looking forward to their next shift. Darche going hard down low. Halpern winning important faceoffs and being very intense. Pouliot looking like a first rounder again.

Hopefully Pleks can go tomorrow. Dirty road win...just how I like them.

Ottawa will be a big test though. They'll be flying. Cam, Gio and company need to start hitting the net.

Lars disappointed but hopefully he can rebound tomorrow.

Well, for as much talk we have of players being overpaid on this team, we also have some incredible bargains too, such as Halpern and maybe even Darche!

What an awesome UFA signing Halpern is turning out to be. He's been our best "third line center" in a very long time.

Nice to see Pouliot showing his talent and that maybe he can yet be a decent scoring winger for us.

Price with a rock solid performance.

A big win after the last two losses - we needed this one to be sure.

Doesn't take a deity to figure it out... they are playing very solid hockey together.

Darche - 2 Goals, +3 in 4 games
Halpern - 1 Goal, 3 Assists, +3 in 4 games
Pouliot - 1 Goal, 2 Assists, +2 in 4 games

Combined 4 Goals, 5 Assists, 9 Points in 4 games, I'd say they deserve to stay together and really they have been arguably our best line in the last few games IMO, at least most consistently solid."

God damn they were good tonight!

Gomez, give Halpern your contract.

Spacek played better. Well, a lot better. Keep it up.

Gionta, what the **** are you doing abandoning the zone to get a new stick ?
