Glad to see people make the distinction.

Frolov is not a bad player at all, and I fully expect him to start showing up on the scoreboard when Gabs comes back. (then again, who wouldn't rack up points next to Gabs?)

How do you change someone's game though?

It seems like this is who he is. He wants to be down in the corners along the boards controlling the puck.

He doesn't even seem to try anything else.

We need him to produce offensively.

Frolov is different. He has proven he's a goal scorer in this league. He has 5 20 goal seasons. Problem is, with the current lineup, he has absolutely no help. The guy is a complimentary player. Complimentary players don't score with Erik Christensen and Ruslan Fedotenko.
He wasn't scoring while playing with Gabby either (as short as it was).

If he picks it up it would certainly help. If he's Higgins part II we don't have to worry about re-signing him and we can give his cash to Brandon "40-goal" Dubinsky

If Dubi scores 40 goals, will be giving Frolov's cash to him anyway, no matter how much he picks it up over the course of the season.
