It's about results and while the regular season war has been good, the playoff war hasn't been. You have to take advantage of situations and last year we had a team on the ropes and weren't able to put them away. At some point we need to learn to smell the blood and bury the other team or this will continue to happen.

I am in this for the long haul with this team but others may not see it the same way.
My point is that Trotz does not deserve to be fired, as many here think he does. He does incredible amounts with what he has.

I unfortunately agree with you...lol. You don't fire a coach for a small stretch like we're going thru. At some point though he's gonna have to get over the hump in the playoffs and pull an upset since it doesn't appear we're gonna be a top 4 seed for a while. He does a great job with what he's given but he does have his short comings as well. It would be nice to see him bring in some help with the PP. Whoever that may be I don't know but we need fresh ideas and concepts because what we have now isn't working.

Totally agree. We need to get some kind of offensive mastermind to be his assistant. Maybe they would cancel out....

That was as ugly as Zdeno Chara. But, like Chara, it got the job done.

If I were Dumont I would be asking every day to be traded. Somewhere that will appreciate his talent. I know he passes up a lot of shots but he is still a playmaker. I mean playing with Belak! C'mon.

Our first line is the only good line right now.

Dumont should be traded, he deserves better than this!

Another great forechecking shift by 26-16-27 leads to another goal. 2-2. Need another line to step up.
