Bobrovsky did not even get a star of the game.

Looked like one of the capitals lost his glove when OD pinned him into the boards. Clearly a penalty?

Coach's challenge flag please.

Bob was incredible. I don't think we deserved a single point there. Coburn saved a goal in the final minute. Nodl-Richards-Zherdev may have been our best line. I thought JVR could have been a factor in tonight's game.

I don't think it was as weak a game as most people seem to...you could tell they were tired, but it could've been much worse.

The penalty at the end is really the frustrating part to me.

Carter is still playing wing and Shelley keeps getting a spot on the roster.

I'm not terribly thrilled with our roster management so far to be honest. Not happy about playing Bobovsky so much, but we won six in a row so I can't argue about that without looking like an ass.

YOu do not throw 30 hits when you are tired.

I have no idea. It was BS, without a doubt.

That's why I'm upset when flagrant penalties don't get called because you know for a fact the call will go against us.

That whole sequence was irritating. Look, I understand the "logic" to the blood rule, but in actual practice it's stupid. Refs need to look at intent and use of the stick more than the result... cuz sometimes pretty reckless plays lead to no blood, whereas "bad break" plays lead to blood. That's not fair. I mean, my nose has always bled rather easily... hit me in the nose with a stick and it's going to bleed. Shouldn't be a 4 min penalty.

The boarding call was just terrible.

Shelley adds nothing of value to this team. I would understand if we were so cap-strapped that we could only carry 12 forwards. But we have JVR and Wellwood sitting around with their dick in their hands while this ugly ********** craps all over the ice for 4 minutes and collects a million bucks.

JVR might not be scoring, but at least the potential is there. And what else does a kid like Wellwood have to do to earn playing time? The kid was dynamite for those three games.

I'll take the point, but that was a pretty poor game. Hopefully they were just tired from last night's game.

Bobrovsky was solid yet again though, which is nice to see. Nödl showed some hustle as well. Coburn, apart from a few shifts in the second period was decent as well. Also, Powe is getting better and better at the PK. He's gotten a lot better when they've entered our zone and set up play. He used to be fairly easily beaten, but is a lot smarter nowadays.

Other than that, let's just move on. Who are we playing next?

1 pt on the road against the caps on a back to back. Ill take that. I felt that we really did a good job of neutralizing ovie. He was not really a factor this game.

I was really impressed with washington's d. I felt they dictated the play for most of the game. It pains me that Carlson was drafted with our pick, I think he is going to be a stud.

But great effort in the 3rd period, two games in a row. Cant be too upset with this outcome tonight.

Well, Bob definitely deserves a better cast in front of him. 40 shots on goal and 2 he gives up are on the PP with poor coverage in front of the net. He stands on his head to keep us in it (honorable mention to Coburn) and then the refs just hold us down and **** us at the end. Once I seen O'Donnell go to the box I knew we were boned. Can't just keep handing the Caps man advantages, and I'm not talking about us, I'm talking about the officials. They love that ****.

I agree, its fundamentally wrong based on elements out of context of the plays intensity. If i blow my nose too hard in the winter or fall once the cold dry air hits, it bleeds... hell just put me out on the ice and I could get 4 min PP's at will!
